Location is awesome if you don't want to be near all the noise and drunkies around the French Quarter. The St Charles Streetcar drops off right down the street and it is only about a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street.

We snagged the hotel on a "Sniqueaway" deal so we saved a little bit overall. The rooftop pool is awesome and the whole area is very clean. The hot tub jets are nothing to write home about, they are VERY weak.

There is also a nightly tradition of Peanut Butter and Jelly served between 10-11pm. It's a nice touch after an evening out. We did not feel like spending $20 pp on the breakfast buffet, so we saved a few PB&J sandwiches in our fridge for breakfast the following morning.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We did not eat at the hotel as the prices were a little out there. You are better off taking the walk into the quarter or down Magazine / Decature street to find a nice restaurant.

All in all a great stay!

While we certainly enjoyed everything the French Quarter, and the rest of New Orleans, had to offer, the elegant Le Pavillon was a welcome oasis at the end of the day.

I stayed at Le Pavillon over Easter weekend and really enjoyed it. The location is great - you can walk into the quarter easily but not have to put up with the noise or ruckus of the quarter in the middle of the night- and the lobby is really gorgeous. The most memorable part of the trip was the hotel's easter celebration- very nice touch!
I will say that the rooms could use some updating, but that shouldn't put anyone off because they're clean and functional.

We stayed in Nola for French Quarter fest and this was a great location. Also, be prepared to wear some comfy shoes because there is a lot of walking needed if you REALLy want to se Nola. After a night of partying, the rooftop was great because there's a hottub and heated pool to help your sore dawgs after walking/ dancing Bourbon Street and all. We met some really fun people in the hot tub AND continued to drink. Nobody from the hotel got on to us after being there after hours too. Yay!! P & J sandwiches are ok but I can see them being a lot better if you have been drinking. All in all, we had a great time!!

From the moment you step into this beautiful, historic hotel you will be impressed. The lobby area is very French Provincial and very very well kept.
Every staff member that you come in contact with is friendly and professional. The wedding reception that we attended was in the lobby bar area and the main floor ballroom.
The food was incredible rivaling any first class wedding in New York. The service was impeccable.

A friend and I had a lovely 5 night stay at Le Pavillon over the Easter weekend. The room and bathroom were nice and clean, although slightly on the small side. The decor in the hotel was very impressive! It was in a very good location, very near the French Quarter, but without the noise of the French Quarter. We didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants, although we did have a few nice drinks at the bar! The staff was very friendly and helpful. A few niggly little things are stopping me from giving it a 5/5 rating - such as hardly being able to put anything on the bedside table as the lamp, phone and clock took nearly all the space, one of the phones in the room not working, the tv in the room being old and bulky and having to get someone from reception to come down to the business centre to type in the password for the internet. However, these were very minor issues and which may not bother/affect other people and, overall, a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at this hotel. It is a lovely old hotel and the grand entry is gorgeous. The rooms are a little small as is the bathroom, but the prices are very reasonable compared to other hotels. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We love the location since it is away from the hoopla of the French Quarter but within easy walking distance. Trolley cars are a block away to take you to the Garden district and onwards. A very pleasant stay!!
