Our room was ultra quiet, had great sun during the day but good curtains if you wanted to keep the sun out. The room was perfectly furnished and the fridge and ice maker were appreciated. The large closet, safe in the room and great bathroom were the perfect compliments. We moved to the Intercontinental Hotel after leaving Le Pavillon and were disappointed in comparison. The staff was attentive and the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm were a nice touch. Even housekeeping took the time to say hello each day and you felt welcome everywhere you went. The business center is well equipped and the rooftop pool was nice.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the river side of the hotel get better sunlight and the higher floors are quieter.

Good location, extremely nice staff, very professional. We stayed from April 17 to April 20 and we were very satisfied. Our room was at the 6th floor, quiet, nice, large room, good beds, nice view. There is a pool on the roof, you also can see the city form there. Within 5-10 minutes of walk, you are in French Quarter and Bourbon Street. This little walk is save even late in the evening. Very safe neighborhood. I recommend this hotel and I will be back !

I have stayed at the LE PAVILLON on three separate occasions ! Never Disappointed.

THANKS to the " True Southern Belle " who invited me and introduced me to this wonderful amazing city with a distinct personality for the very first time 10 years ago.

Every time ...it was pleasant, enjoyable, comfortable, welcoming, and gave me as sense of going back in time to an older charming, beautiful, historic hotel in NOLA..
The staff truly cares about your comfort and satisfaction. It shows.

Its simply a once in a lifetime experience instead of a Generic Hotel. Its UNIQUE and one of a kind.

TERRIFIC location for walking to the French Quarter and other places.

Definitely Recommend !

First off, the staff is very friendly and helpful. From the doormen, to the bell staff, to the concierge, all were top notch. We did have some issues on our trip though. First one of the drinking glasses was clearly not cleaned and we also found that one of the robes in our room had a distinct smell of perfume on it that was not ours! Then we had no hot water 3 different times. So all of these are big concerns, but I still felt they deserve 4 stars due to how well they reacted to the issues and ensured we remained satisfied. The concierge, Lou, ensured our concerns were heard and addressed and was raising our concerns with the director of the appropriate departments. EVERY establishment has problems, it is how they react to and resolve them that distinguishes and establishment, and Le Pavillion excelled here.

Overall the public areas have a historic charm to them that made us smile.

The rooms are very nice, but are beginning to show some age, but then again the hotel is 100 years old! Bed was comfortable.

There were two bottles of water, two peanut butter and jelly cookies, and a newspaper provided daily. The 10pm PB&J table in the lobby was the best. I can't explain why, but this just made the stay so much more enjoyable.

As for location, I thought it was perfect. It was close to everything, but not in the middle of all of the chaos. Everything was within 10-20 min walking distance.

So beyond the issues we had, I would still recommend this hotel.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is definitely older, and the rooms show that, but it has a lot of character, which is really what NOLA is all about anyway. They offer FREE hot chocolate and PBJ's in the lobby at night which was definitely the highlight of our stay :) It made us feel like little kids again to go down and munch of the treats. I recall valet being prompt and helpful, which is an unusual trait in NOLA.

We came in on Saturday and stayed for 2 nights at this luxurious and gorgeous Hotel. It was our 1st Anniversary and by surprise we were upgraded to a wonderful King Room on the 6th floor, 615. It was breathtaking. When we arrived back in our room the first evening, we were greeted with turn down service and a refreshing bottle of champagne with glasses, 2 bottled waters and 2 PBJ cookies. Thank you so much!!
The service at the Hotel, from Housekeeping to the Front Desk was amazing. Jessica at the front desk was a standout! Thank you for the referral of La Bayou on Bourbon, it was delicious and we will definitely be visiting you again soon!
PB&J's are a special touch every night at 10PM along with fresh fruit, cold milk and hot chocolate. Don't forget the beautiful rooftop pool and cabanas for lounging. They will also provide pool service (drinks and food) and deliver it directly to you in a timely manner.
I now know why this hotel is on the list for Leading Hotels of the World. Simply amazing. The best Hotel hands down, we have ever stayed in. Will recommend to everyone I know!

Room Tip: Room 615 is an upgraded King. Simply gorgeous with fine furnishings. Directly in front of the elevat...

The title says it all. Superb housekeeping twice daily. Excellent, quick, helpful service. Super friendly. Prompt service. Happy employees. Unpretentious. Don't order drinks "on the rocks" though as you will be charged $3.00. Beautiful lobby, cool bar, amazing Sunday brunch!

Go now, and be bold.
