This place is very grand. The rooms are tired though. The most wonderful thing is seeing everyone in their pjs at 10 pm having cocoa and pb and j with cookies all served in the most beautiful giant silverware. We made great friends each evening, shared our day, caught up with what was going on locally, all in pyjamas! Great grand restaurant, very reasonably priced, massive portions, excellent quality. It's just the rooms looking out of date. They smell a little old and musty, the bathrooms are old but clean. I would stay again, the concierge was very helpful and booked day trips to local plantation houses for us. I love this place but wish they would upgrade their rooms....and bathrooms. Kids loved rooftop pool, that is cool....very unusual to have a Grecian pool in the sky!More
