We were going to a NY Jet football game in New Orleans and researched TripAdvisor for a hotel in the area of the Superdome. Le Pavillon was one that kept coming up with wonderful reviews, so we chose it. Every review was accurate. The moment we arrived, we were treated with the highest level of service possible, from the bellhop, front desk, maids, dining room, etc....... The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in french decor, with amazing antiques in the lobby. The rooms were immaculate, with every amenity one could ask for. Every night at 10 p.m. they put out peanut butter, fruit, hot chocolate, and more for anyone staying there. This just compliments the theme of the hotel. The Sunday brunch was amazing, with a nice gentleman playing the piano and singing. In fact, he saw we were Jet fans, he incorporated some words into his song about the Jets, just making us feel right at home. The pool and hot tub on the roof provide a wonderful view of the city. And lastly, you are only a short walk away from the St. Charles & Canal St. trolley, the Riverfront, and of course, Bourbon Street. It is clear to see why this hotel is listed in "Amazing Hotels of the World". Clearly I would not hesitate about staying here again, and hope to in the near future.

We debated staying at one of the larger, five star chain hotels that we are familiar with but decided to try something that represented New Orleans and the south, and we are so happy we did so! This hotel is older but charming. Clean and quiet. The staff was always there, ready to help with anything! Our king size room was comfortable. Not much of a view but there really isn't a "view" in the CBD! We relied on the consierge for directions, restuarant suggestions and tours and were never disappointed with their suggestions! We walked to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Jackson Square easily the street car was a block away. The rooftop pool and workout area was a nice place to relax! The artwork around the hotel was beautiful and the peanut butter/jelly sandwiches and hot cocoa each evening was a fun touch! The hotel restaurant had great food!

We loved Le Pavillon. I booked this on Hotwire and got a great deal. We it thought it was the Ritz given the location on the Hotwire map, so I was dissapointed when I found out it was not. The wonderful people and the building totally changed my mind immediately. What a great time we had. NICE room, great view, a pleasant little walk from canal street. Slightly off the beaten path, but away from the noise of the French quarter but so close. Loved the peanut butter sandwiches and hot chocolate in the lobby at the end of a fabulous day in New Orleans. Loved it! Will definitely stay here again.

Our trip was wonderful. The staff at this hotel are outstanding, they anticipated our every need. We had a junior suite, which was very spacious. Loved every minute of our stay at Le Pavilion. Just far enough away from the French Quarter. I travel quite extensively for work and have stayed at plenty of 4 stars and this one tops them all. Can't wait to go back..

My husband and I decided that for our trip to New Orleans, we would "hotel hop" and experience a few different places while we were there; we stayed at Le Pavillon our last night there for one night, and wished we had stayed there the entire long weekend, hands-down. It's located just across Canal St. (basically "on Bourbon", though Bourbon changes names) from Bourbon St., but is about 4 or 5 blocks down and in more of the business district. We were able to safely and quickly get to everything from Harrah's Casino, to the Aquarium, to everything up and down Bourbon St, on foot no matter what time of night or day. The staff there, from the Bellhop to the Bartender were impeccable and welcoming and more than helpful - they even let us BORROW two of their brand new $40 umbrellas for the afternoon during the ridiculous downpour, even though they already had a few used ones open...small detail, but it was the icing on the cake after being completely wowed and enchanted from the moment we walked in the door.

The roof-top pool and jacuzzi were incredible: romantic, amazing view, and beautifully "landscaped". Everything about the hotel: carpet, walls, windows, bathroom (even the shower head was SPARKLING!) was so clean you could have eaten off of it. The bathrooms had an abundance of towels and washcloths, and the hallways to the rooms felt like you were in an old historic home, not a hotel at all...each room even has it's own doorbell! You will not see "can lighting" or "modern touches" here...everything from the elevator doors to the recessed ceilings around the amazing chandeliers is done in beautiful murals, and you will be amazed at some of the massive antique pieces throughout (and the stories that go with them!).

An absolute gem, and we WILL be back...for more than one night!
