We booked a jacuzzi suite for our stay, which ended up being about the size of a standard room in most hotels we have stayed at. Bathroom was tiny (about 4' by 6' for the shower and toilet).

Our room was very nice. The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel we stayed in during our entire trip (even better than our bed at home). You can't beat the location (close enough to walk to pretty much anything in the French Quarter, just a block and a half from Bourbon street, yet far enough that you really can't hear the noise from the street). Housekeeping did a great job and our room service breakfast was right on time. Even in December, the heated rooftop pool was nice and warm and we were up there every day we were there.

One main issue we had was the parking - the only on site parking option was valet parking at $36 per day. To be fair, this was on par with what we saw the nearby hotels charging for valet parking as well. We are also accustomed to having a microwave and refrigerator in our hotel room - our room had a mini bar, but no space for us to put our own drinks.

Stayed: December 2013

Great location, easy walking distance to all the wonderful sights, or a great place to come and not leave at all to experience great food and relaxation. This was a "Mother Daughter" getaway. Would suggest checking for specials on website. This made our stay special due to added perks we recieved>

I paid extra for the larger room ,good thing, because I would hate to see how small a normal room is. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location but for what i paid for the size of the room, i am not happy and the front desk did not offer any resolution or compensation to resolve the issue.

Great place to stay in the Quarter this is centrally located, but in a quiet area (just a couple of blocks from the mayhem of Bourbon Street). Great place to enjoy the city, very friendly and attentive staff.

center of everything we intended to see in New Orleans, walking distance to everything from Bourbon Street to party, and Decatur Street to shop, Jax Brewery to relax. Courtyard is huge and beautiful. There is a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom that is a very nice size, but give it some time to fill up as water pressure is not very strong. The bathroom is a very good size for a New Orleans hotel. Overall we liked it a lot. We stay in New Orleans a couple times a year and will try to stay here again. Rooms seem to book quickly and I can see why. Very good value.
