This is our fifth time staying here. Got room service and it was good. Only complaint was hot water. I took two showers that were pretty chilly. Third day water was fine. Valet was as quick as they could be as they were packed.

This hotel is ideally located at the edge of the French Quarter. Easy access to bourbon street, Harrah's casino and the riverfront. Great very friendly staff, helpful and readily available. Very helpful tourist info and able to arrange tours for you. Club room very nice and 24 hour access for drinks. Food is excellent in club room, however seating can be a problem. Overall a great experience for 5 days.

Room Tip: Corner suites are worth the money

GREAT hotel on Canal Street – true 4 stars hotel -worth the money!!! We booked 2 rooms in December, (family of 5). We were returning from a cruise. We are Marriott members but chose to try the Sheraton! WOW! We arrived early – and they accommodated us by giving us one out of 2 rooms. We needed a roll away bed – no issues – they even gave us a larger room! The rooms have been renovated – really nicely done. The bathroom was immaculate and large. The beds were comfortable and the room offered complementary bottles of water! Room service was prompt and good price quality (Hamburger, $15.00 – decent price for room service). The tour desk was helpful in suggesting restaurants and tours for the kids. The bar/restaurant in the main lobby area – there was a game on and a lot of action (in a good way). Beautifully decorated for the Holidays, great service all around, conveniently located. The views from the 19th floor were great! We will stay there again and I am getting a Sheraton card for the future!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevators - got a bit noisy in the evening!

The Sheraton has a great location right on Canal Street across from the French Quarter. Almost everything is within walking distance, or there are shuttles; restaurants, tours, WWII museum, and Mardi Gras World.

We were on 37th floor with a decent view and had adjoining suits - very convenient for a family of 5 once you bring in a roll-away. Rooms, beds, service, all very good. Also enjoyed the Starbucks in the lobby.

Room Tip: Ask for adjoining rooms if you need more space.

The rooms were clean and had a great view of the city. The front desk staff was nice and friendly. The location is a problem only because you have to cross busy Canal St. to get to the French Quarter. If that doesn't bother you then you are ok. The price of the room was not bad, but the parking is way overpriced. Furthermore, the garage staff is terrible. They are slow and they lose vehicles. They are also rude if they think you don't tip enough.

We usually stay at the Hilton river walk but since the sheraton was closer to the superdome we stayed here. It was nice and clean, service was good and rooms were nice , clean and comfortable the only thing that was disappointing is they charge for in room WIFI when just about everyplace I've ever stayed offers it for free
