Excellent location away from the noise and chaos of the French Quarter but an easy 5 minute walk into the heart of the action and fun. Only a 20-30 walk to the Garden District and Lee Circle near the museums. We walked everywhere, including up to Armstrong Park and St. Louis Cemetery 1. Everything was fine and smooth from check in to check out. Rooms were clean and well maintained by housekeeping. We didn't upgrade to Club level or any of that other stuff as it seemed unnecessarily given that we were always on the move. The pool is very nice as is the lobby. You will have to have ice delivered to your door as there are no ice machines in the place.

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel many times visiting our daughter at Tulane U. It just gets better and better. The staff is super, the rooms cushy and beds are divine. It's located 1 block off of Canal Street in the middle of all the NOLA action. 6 blocks to Bourbon St, 10 blocks to the Superdome and surrounded by many of the best restaurants in the country.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans and had a wonderful time. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but we had booked a Club level room, so the desk clerk sent us with keys there to wait. The Club level attendant couldn't have been more helpful with restaurant suggestions and reservations. While having our iced tea, the desk clerk comes up and says he upgraded us to a suite so we wouldn't have to wait and gave us the keys! How nice! Our room was immaculate and beautiful. Each day after being out a few hours, our room was refreshed and ready for us. We had room service for dinner and the food was wonderful and promptly sent. All things being equal, we will return to this hotel on our next trip to New Orleans.

Room Tip: This locations is great for shopping on Magazine street. And being outside the French Quarter was a...

We have stayed here a number of times now, and loved it each time. Recently we stayed here while attending my daughter's graduation from Tulane. The hotel is located very near the French Quarter and the Convention Center. You can easily walk to these venues, plus The Riverwalk and, our favorite, The Art District. Our room this time was a suite. It was very large and comfortable with a well-planned separation between the sitting room and the bedroom. I'm very picky about hotel beds. These beds are wonderful- conducive to a peaceful, comfortable sleep without any aches and pains in the morning. The bathroom was double countered/double sinked and the shower and toilet discreetly separated off. The hotel's common areas are both opulent and welcoming and the staff very helpful. I can recommend this hotel very highly for your stay in New Orleans.

Went for a meeting. Staff was the best. Room was in great shape. Food was really good as well. I've been to places like the Broodmore in Colorado Springs and this hotel isn't quite as opulent, but it is certainly in the same class. You can't really go wrong with being just off the Quarter and having access to all the things it provides within walking distance.

We were celebrating our Wedding anniversary,so we chose this hotel because of all the good reviews from T.A. We loved this place, It's absolutely beautiful. Our jr. suite was wonderful-plenty of space to relax-wonderful bed, large bathroom and shower. But what would bring us back to WCH again would have to be their staff. From the initial welcome from the front desk, to them touching base with us when we got to our room to see if it was to our liking. We had upgraded to the Club level and we were so glad we did because of the staff we met. They made you feel as if you were part of their family. Felix, Jerry and Jonette were just great-we really enjoyed talking with them. They gave us great info about the city. You could feel their love for their city. We actually looked forward to going up there every morning to talk with them. We forgot to mention Darlene and Nicol who were the first we met when we went up on our first afternoon.
Again willing to do anything to help you. Darlene actually got us a reservation at an excellent restaurant which wasn't easy to do. So for us it was all about the staff . They really care. The hotel is lucky to have them. Just some more info-the hotel is in a great location-short distance to everything. The suite was always cleaned perfectly each day. There was one faux pas which could have been costly. We had asked for a wake-up call for 5:30 a.m. so we could get ready and get to the airport. Guess what. Lucky I'm an early riser. There was no call. Anyway, when we come back to this great city, we'll be staying right here.

Room Tip: Club level suites-higher floors looking out over the river

I've stayed here dozens of times. My favorite rooms are Club level and the suites are to die for. The staff are the best! From the doormen to the Concierge, the front desk staff and the housekeepers. All are customer service experts. The rooms are luxurious, the lobby is beautiful, even the driveway-courtyard is pretty.

Room Tip: Go for the extra $$ and stay on the Club Level. It's worth every $.
