Beautiful room..great bed...lots of choices at breakfast and a beautiful outside area to eat. Staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions for dinner. Wonderful bar where we had a relaxing glass if wine after sightseeing. We have already recommended it to friends!

I chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor and other travel sites.....I like staying in local hotels as opposed to the larger chain lodging. Alas, disappointment.....we thought the check in process was absolutely unwelcoming, the basic rooms dark and very small with no place to put articles--including pillows from the bed, except on the floor. We received no orientation as to where breakfast might be, the bar, the business center or could even find a concierge to orient us to the city. There was no elevator to get us to the third floor room and for our 82 yearold friends, that was a dissatisfier.
I am disappointed in your review as I depend on it when making plans.....we along with our friends will not be staying at the Mazarin again and may have to stay in a chain hotel after all....Canal Street looked mighty welcoming.

Room Tip: None to add...I,would not stay here again

The Mazarin is a great hotel, located half a block from Bourbon street, which makes exploring the French Quarter fun and easy. The food and sights are wonderful and a must to complete your "Big Easy" experience!

The Mazarin's decor is luxurious, but not overstated. It is quite and the beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The fabulous daily breakfast buffet with made to order omelets, in the beautiful canopy covered courtyard, is the perfect way to start your day.

We use to stay at the hotel when it was the St. Louis, and we also loved the how wonderful the staff was. It is great see so many Familiar faces (especially Mr. Solomon) are still there to provide excellent quest services. A special thank you the housekeepers, the chef/ chefs and Rene!

The Mazarin is the only place to stay in New Orleans! Thanks for being our home away from home. We are looking forward to our stay next year, with great anticipation. Thanks! D and T Marin

stayed at hotel mazarin for 5 nights for an extended-destination wedding trip. our room was so luxurious, marble floors, chandelier, the whole 9 yards. the wedding was beautifully done in the courtyard (which is so beautiful and where we had breakfast every day). half a block from bourbon street, we felt like we were just steps from wherever we wanted to go. i would definitely stay here whenever i end up back in new orleans.

I stayed here from 11/29/13-12/2/13 for the Bayou Classic. The staff was wonderful to me and my husband. Our reservations was cancelled by mistake and they reinstated our reservation and gave us an upgrade for the inconvience. The Hotel is located 1/2 block from Bourbon St. The location is perfect so that you are steps away from the action and but in a quiet area when you want to rest. They have free buffet breakfast and you can special order items like omlettes made to order, pancakes without any problem and Eggs made your way. The rooms are large and beautifull. I encourage everyone to stay here. I pick this hotel by the pictures and I don't regret it at all. There is a Bar in the hotel with excellent staff and ambiance. You have couches to relax on another room for privacy and also an outdoor area

Room Tip: Get a superior King room, they have double sinks.

Stayed here for three nights beginning of November in a superior king room. The room was quite large. Didn't really hear any noise at night (midweek visit). Breakfast was very nice and you can ask the servers to make you anything you want for breakfast. My husband enjoyed omelets and pancakes each morning. Great location. Couldn't ask for more.

We stayed here in late October and what a great find!! It is a beautiful hotel, rooms well appointed and the most comfortable beds. Perfect location, wonderful breakfast included each morning complete with china and silver and I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating the entire staff was during our stay. I want to give a special "shout out" to Solomon, the bell man who went above and beyond to arrange a couple of tours for us. I can't wait to go back to NOLA and will definitely stay here again.
