“Great location and staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

Hotel is very conveniently located in French Quarter, right between Royal and Bourbon Streets. Very friendly service. Valet parking charge is actually a bargain compared to self-park, if you plan to be there over 12 hours. You will not want to use a car in the French Quarter anyway. Beautifully appointed rooms with some marbled floors (probably better appreciated in hotter weather than we had in March). Spacious bathroom. Comfortable bedding, but mattress not as firm as I would have liked. We picked a room facing courtyard to avoid noise from Quarter. That worked, but sounds from courtyard and footsteps/luggage wheels on the concrete walkway right outside the room remain audible at all hours. Buffet breakfast on par with typical complementary hotel breakfasts; should skip and go for café au lait and beignets at nearby Café du Monde, if you have never done that before. Small but nice exercise room. As mentioned by others, this hotel is right across the street from the fabulous and relatively new Restaurant R'evolution.

Great location, right in the center of things but without the noise of Bourbon Street. Beautiful courtyard and rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was chic. Wonderful breakfasts included: nice buffet and can order delicious omelets and pancakes from the kitchen. It was a little more pricey than some other choices, but not by much for what you get. Unforgettable hotel.

Hotel Mazarin was excellent! The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a nice breakfast each morning. It is in a perfect location on Bienville St. The guest rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. We loved the courtyard with the fountain for evening wine/cocktails. We will definitely visit the Hotel Mazarin again when in New Orleans!

This was our second stay at Hotel Mazarin, and it was every bit as nice, as the first. Staff is great, full breakfast was delicious, complete with china, no paper plates here. Rooms are beautiful, comfy beds you don't want to get out of, and great bathroom, with nice shower. Directly across the street is restaurant R'evolution. The food was so great we ate there 2 nights in a row, last time we were there, in walked Jim Belushi, nice surprise. Don't miss it. This is our go to Hotel in New Orleans, you should definitely make it yours. We have stayed in other Stash Boutique Hotels, and they are all wonderful.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Hotle Mazarin. From our room to our breakfast we enjoyed our stay. Although our room was on the 5th floor near the elevator we rarely heard any noise during the night and slept soundly. Breakfast was good...especially the cut fruit. The hotel is centrally located and it was easy to walk to restaurants, museums, and the streetcar stops.

We stayed at Hotel Mazarin during the last week of March for 3 days for our 35th anniversary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Extensive complimentary breakfast was very good! We were able to eat something different each morning. Comfortable bed, but room was small, stayed in a deluxe queen. Courtyard was lovely. Close to Bourbon Street, but not noisy. Walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Will most likely return. Would recommend it.
