Location is perfect if you are going to Bourbon street. Hotel has a wonderful New Orleans character. The room is spacious, bed is very comfortable, shower is a large walk in, and the complimentary breakfast was more than expected. Parking is valet only but I wouldn't want to look for a place to park in that area. I will stay here again.

Hotel Mazaran was a great experience. Room was neat and clean. Breakfast was great! The property was beautiful. What I would expect in the French Quarter. The staff was very nice and helpful. This hotel is in the Heart of the French Quarter, located between Bourbon St and Royal St but far enough away from the bars on Bourbon St. The traffic was CRAZY trying to get there but you can valet park. It is expensive at about $34 dollars daily plus taxes but really you pay around that at other hotels in the area. By the time we made it to the hotel we did not care that it cost that much, we were just glad not to have to drive anywhere! I would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Mazarin for our honeymoon. Everything was perfect! We had a hard time leaving the room because of how comfortable the place was. We really enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The location was about a half a block from Bourbon Street, so it was a bit noisy at night. Other than that, the service, staff, and even breakfast was fantastic! We loved how there were so many varieties when it came to the morning breakfast. If we ever go back to NOLA, we will most likely stay at Hotel Mazarin again!

I just spent three nights with a girl friend at the Hotel Mazarin. We were really pleased with the room as well as the entire ambiance of the Hotel.

We asked for a room that faced the courtyard as it was deemed to be quieter than facing the street. We were given a corner room (504) which suited us perfectly - although it did not actually face the courtyard as it was down the hallway a bit - but being on the 5th floor we had our wish of a quiet room.

Our room had two very comfortable queen beds and a nice sized bathroom. The air-conditioning was excellent - not noisy at all and easy to control the temperature. It was REALLY hot in New Orleans when we were there, so the room became our sanctuary from the heat when we needed a break.

Breakfast was included and was served every day from 7:30 am to at least noon. Excellent choices including eggs, bacon, sausages, grits, fresh fruit and numerous pastries and beverages. The staff in and around the breakfast area were really helpful and extremely pleasant. You can eat inside the buffet area or outside in the courtyard. We ate outside and it was a great start to the day.

The free wifi was easy to access and gave us no issues. Also available in the courtyard area so it was nice to relax out there and surf at any time.

A wedding was held in the courtyard area while we were there. They had brought in flowers around the fountain and additional plants around the courtyard – what a delightful venue for a wedding. We were impressed.

The hotel location was about half a block from Bourbon Street. Everything in the French Quarter is within walking distance from this hotel. There are many restaurants in the area as well as bars. The best restaurant we ate at was a one minute walk away (GW Finns).

The hotel staff were all friendly and really helpful. Janet, the concierge was really knowledgeable and eager to assist. Overall we REALLY enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Mazarin and would stay there again without hesitation.

Room Tip: High floor away from the elevator

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is my choice of hotels in Nola. Great rooms, wonderful friendly staff, fantastic location. My only regret is what happened to the restaurant? ? They use to have the best pancakes and now they are like frisbies. Oh well check in and eat some where else. It's a great hotel.

We just returned from our stay at Hotel Mazarin where everything from the location (Fr. Quarter), to our room, service, and staff were excellent. The friendliness and helpfulness were noteworthy. This is a great place to stay if in the area and we will definitely stay there again .
