Enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Great location in the Garden District. It is out of the fray of all the French Quarter craziness, yet you can get on a trolley that is just outside your door and be there in minutes. There is a lot to do in the Garden Square, as well as dining and drinks at Superior Grill, that is on the same block as the Hampton. The Hampton has great linens for a great night sleep. Would definitively return to this Hampton.

I was so pleased to walk into this hotel. The lobby decor is really nice and the outdoor seating/pool area was very relaxing - villa style, not hotel. Small and quaint. Like a boutique hotel.
Free parking, ample parking even with a full house.
Easy to get in and out.

The location can not be beat if you are going to Tulane or the Garden District, since there are basically only 2 hotels here.

The rooms are fine. Clean, reasonably modern, and Fine. Just fine. Nothing at all great.
The included breakfast again is ample, not great, just fine.

Overall, I would stay here again due to the location, but this is not a romantic getaway place. Some of the front desk staff could be a bit more friendly or at least appear interested in the guest (at least pretend!).

The location of this Hampton Inn is excellent for the type travel I use it for, which is why I selected it. The lobby area is always clean, the staff always professional, the parking lot is clean (but dark if you arrive late).

The rooms in this hotel are in need of an update much sooner than later, though. They are generally clean, but you can tell the years are wearing on them. The last time I stayed, I had a second floor suite facing St. Charles Avenue, and in doing my normal room safety check, discovered that the french doors that opened to view the street could not be locked.

Sure, they were gracious and moved me to another room, but combined with the need to update, this was the last time I spent at that locale.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a pleasant experience. It is a clean hotel, with very polite staff members. The parking is free, and the St. Charles streetcar stops basically in front. (For trips to the French Quarter and Downtown, it is a great option, much better than driving. Consider buying a $3 day pass, as it allows unlimited use of streetcars/buses until the following day at 4 AM.) Breakfast is included in the rate, with even "to-go" bags provided. The room needed some updating, but the bed was comfortable, and more importantly, it was clean. The hotel was quiet, and the air-conditioning worked well, bit was a little on the noisy side. There are a good number of places to eat nearby, as well as supermarkets, including a Whole Foods. The Garden District is a great place to walk and very scenic, with a good number of mansions.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and would definitely recommend it.
