This place has tons of character, good choices, good food and a fun atmosphere. The verandah is lovely. Our waiter was great and helpful and we ate several meals here, enjoying them all. Quality, quantity high on the scale.

We had a great lunch here on a Sunday. Although the neighbouring table was occupied by some Evangelicals who had just come from church and discussed religious matters loudly, including that it was a matter of conscience not to drink a beer before preaching at a service, we enjoyed our lunch. The service was not very fast but when our chicken quesadillas arrived, we decided the wait was worthwhile as they were excellent. Not greasy, and with a good balance of chicken, tomato and cheese. Five stars for the chicken quesadillas!

Definitely one of the best restaurants to be found in Volcan. Comfortable, casual atmosphere, good service, although a bit slow, but hey..that's Panama! I had grilled mahi mahi and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the pork loin in mushroom sauce and he really liked it. Very generous portions. The prices were very reasonable, especially for mahi mahi.

Prime food for the best price ever, we went there for dinner based on a very insistent recommendation, and returned for lunch the day after. The menu is out of complications and they will always recommend choices of the day, the food quality is very good made with very fresh products and with prices that seems frozen from a decade ago compared to the extremes of other restaurants specially in Boquete.

This past October 4th it was an easy choice for us (5 adults) to have lunch at Mana, the best rated restaurant in Volcan, which according to Tripadvisor, had an impeccable record of good, quality food; it was our first visit. One of us had a good salad as main course. Three of us ordered grilled Mahi-mahi (dorado a la plancha); the portions were generous, and reasonably presented; however, the fish had no taste whatsoever.. none at all ! When we mentioned to the manager (or owner ?) the absence of taste on the mahi-mahi, he simply offered to bring some "sauce" to add to the fish fillet. I ordered a hamburger and fries ... great taste, which also happened to be confirmed by the very many ants happily walking in and out of the burger buns, noticed by me just as I was ready to go for the third bite (I should have kept my reading glasses on !). Without offering apologies, the restaurant limited its actions to deduct from the bill the live-ant seasoned plate. Had I been the manager or owner of the well reputed Mana restaurant, I would have come to the table and offered a sincere apology for such bad experience with the meals; he did not do that. The experience made us wonder how someone could tamper so lightly with the reputation of his business, most probably earned with very hard work.
