This Holiday Inn was everything I expect from this chain. If they are available for my travels, this is where I normally stay. The service was friendly, hotel and room clean. I had reserved and paid weeks earlier. Upon arrival and check in I asked about corporate discounts. The lady checking me in took an additional $30 off my stay. Sweet! Book early. Rates tend to go very high during peak season.

Stayed for 5 nights while visiting all of the sites around the area. It was a short drive to most of them. Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection! Fire pit on the back patio was a nice amenity as well. Overall a nice hotel.

Stayed here on our way to West Yellowstone for one night. Good location. Easy to find. Rooms were clean. Offered a good breakfast in the morning with a nice view. One problem or area of concern was the level of chlorine in the pool/hot tub area. I overheard several of the guests say the hot tub was too hot and the level of chlorine was making their eyes water and burn. My daughter even experienced a rash/allergic reaction to the chlorine. In retrospect, probably was not a safe level of chlorine in the pool/hot tub. Outside of the concerns about the pool area, our stay was very good.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our road trip as it was easy access to the places we were visiting. It is a great Holiday Inn Express. Good easy parking, friendly desk staff, clean rooms and a great complementary breakfast in a light and airy room with a pretty (albeit man-made) waterfall view. Our only problem was we booked a suite, which we take to mean that there is a bed and seating area. When we went to our room we found that it was two connected bedrooms - two beds, which we didn't need, and only one arm-chair between the two rooms! When I went to the desk to explain that we booked a "suite", they explained that in their hotel, this is a suite....so take note! They were very helpful and friendly and were able to downgrade us to a double room with a sofa...so we were happy enough.

Room Tip: As above...be careful if you want a suite.

Hotel staff helpful, rooms clean, nice breakfast bar. The man made waterfall out the back was spectacular and very much looked as if it belonged...and this hotel is only a couple of blocks from the Purple Pie Place!

Room Tip: If possible, grab a room in the center back! Nice view.

Custer is a nice small town and not touristy like Keystone so we really enjoyed our 2 nights at this hotel. The staff was great and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and continental type items so it fulfilled all of our needs. The best was the back view from the breakfast area where you can sit inside and even sit outside and there is a beautiful water fall feature.Very relaxing.

Room Tip: There was no regular restaurant there so I cannot rate it as an actual restaurant.
