We stayed at Black Hills Bungalows from August 25 - 28. We were lucky that Scott and Susan had set themselves up on Trip Advisor. We read several very positive reviews about the property, so I called and booked.
We were totally surprised when we arrived. The property is about 2 miles away from the main rain, but still well located to all the local attractions. Scott was so friendly, and our kids loved all of their animals - 2 dogs and 4 goats.
Cabin 3 was redone a few years ago and it was immaculate. Scott was a contractor in Fargo, and his attention to detail was amazing. Susan's finishing touches, like great furniture, kitchen tools, and artifacts hanging on the wall made it really feel like home. We cooked breakfast everyday, made a few dinners, played Risk, and enjoyed a campfire one night. Our kids spent most of their time on the property with the goats, who are very friendly. Our bed was very comfortable, the sheets were very high quality, and it was extremely quiet at night.
I've uploaded many photos to really give you a good sense of the high quality of Cabin 3.More
