We liked Pedaso Sports Club. It's small, like most of the hotels in Pedasi, but it's at the very beginning of the town on the main road so it's quieter, and it has a nice outdoor pool. Nice rooms, really friendly people. They have a palapa (outdoor "tiki room") with a bar and the breakfast is free and delicious. Try the Hojaldre (fried bread) and Chirizo (sausage) with your eggs!

Stay long enough at Pedasi Sports Club, and you'll feel like part of the family. The owner and his wife are originally from the U.S., and speak fluent Espanol as well. The staff are always ready to accomodate with a smile. It's not a large place, but the rooms are clean and roomy. The swimming pool is great on a hot Panama day. Being at the edge of town, you will awake to an occasional lowing cow and birds instead of cars and roosters. One of the Pedasi beaches is about one mile walk from the hotel. At the time we stayed here, there were no televisions in the guest rooms, only one in the pallapa hut (satellite equipped) which also has a bar and free breakfast kitchen. Great experience at this hotel.

The Pedasi Sports Club is located as you come into town across from the police station. It's a comfortable, affordable, and relaxing accomodation. The hotel building is very new (couldn't be more than a year old), the rooms are clean and functional and the beds are comfortable. But there are no frills and it is very utilitarian with not a single decorative item in the rooms, no TV/Radio/Clock and plastic lawn furniture for a table. Fan, A/C and cross ventilation make the air quite comfortable and a covered deck along the front of the building allow you to sit out front even when its raining. The grounds are relatively simple with some nice tropical landscaping that will no doubt be quite beautiful as it matures. It has a very nice (albeit small) pool. The bar is excellent, open air and flat panel TVs. Breakfast is pretty good although it doesn't vary from day to day (eggs, fruit, juice, etc). Overall the hotel offers a good value.

The hotel is tied into the sister company which is an outfitter and is run out of the back of the property. They provide various tours/activities (snorkling, scuba, surfing, etc). If you book any of these trips then make sure to get in writing what is included in the price. We had a dispute based on verbal promises that weren't honored but as long as you get things in writing you should be fine.
