A home away from home. Staff is fantastic, rooms are great, food is great, service is great. The amenities are quite extravagant, from the infinity pool to the black sand beach and warm ocean waters. It's very secluded, very tranquil, very intimate. Beautiful location, and I wouldn't know why anybody wouldn't be able to embrace the experience as a whole. Definitely looking on coming back with a couple of my friends so we can get our party on.

Thank you Playa Venao!

i was very pleased with the staff and my stay. the food was amazing no complaints there from any of my family. i swam in one of the many pool since surfing isnt my thing but my spouse and sons had a wonderful time together enjoying the waves and bonding time together.
the two bedroom tiki huts were exactly what we needed to have our privacy away from the kids and still having this be a family vaction without missing the romance. the sunsets were so breath taking and watching them just helped ease my stress away. this vacation is exactly what we needed and was worth every dime. its nice to see this place had spent money on renovations to update the resort and accomidate our needs. im most definately returning and would highly recommend this as a tranquil family get a way.

Obvious management is more interested in your wallet than your experience. Great staff however. And good food. Suprising amount of trash on the beach in Playa Venao. And not many options to stay. Would recommend looking at options in Pedasi. Making a day trip to Venao. If surfing, breaks work mid tide.

Not much to chose from, ended up here. Place had nice beds, AC worked well and the water was hot although there was no water for the first five hours we were there as the pipes were being worked on. The place is obviously under construction $200 a night is a bit steep for an unfinished "resort". Ants were everywhere in the room especially at night.
Very disappointed by the service. We had no bath towels, shampoo or soap. There were only table lamps in the room and after the light bulb blew out we went to complain. They tried to offer us an "upgraded" room not really any difference just closer to the pool. Although we complained we never received bath towels, soaps, or a working light bulb! The pool was clean but the hot tub was really cold maybe they shouldn't call it a hot tub.
Also it was implied that we could use our credit card for the stay, the machine was sitting on the desk when we checked in, when we went to pay we were told they didn't accept credit cards and the machine had been moved back out of sight.
We really felt as if we had been taken advantage of. Charged a high season rate for low quality service. The restaurant had little to no choices and seemed extremely high priced, the wine tasted like it had sat in the sun and spoiled even after a fresh bottle was opened.
Venao is a great beach for surfing and enjoying the day but I wouldn't recommend staying the night.

Room Tip: You can hear everything through the walls in the cabins

We took our two young boys over winter break to this hotel paradise... It exceeded our expectations... The boys swam in the kid friendly pools, ran around through the open grounds of the hotel , played at the beach, and ate the amazing food. We were all mesmerized by the breathtaking sunsets each night and appreciated the hotel amenities. We stayed 12 nights in their two bedroom tiki huts and were really impressed with the cleanliness and support from staff. We are planning on going back next year. It was one of those vacations we want to repeat every year!!!
