After reading some reviews on the night before departure, the family was quite anxious to what we would find upon arrival. We were booked in the Landhaus part of the hotel which would have been a walk across the street for breakfast and dinner. Upon arrival we were upgraded to stay in one of the brand new apartments which was absolutely lovely. The apartment was clean and even though me and my sister (the two teenagers in the family) had to sleep on a convertible sofa, this was by far the best convertible sofa we had ever slept on. The room equipped with a brand new flat screen with international channels made the apartment a nice place to sit and have a drink after skiing.

Breakfast and dinner were fine, the quantities were good and the table waiting was personal. Our waiter remembering the drinks we would order every night was very polite and asked how our days had been when we sat down at the dinner table. One con about the dinners was that we were seated outside of the larger dinner hall and the band (which sang cover songs) would start when we were still eating making it hard to focus on the conversation. The band would play twice each night, once in the late afternoon and from eight until late every night and they were not fantastic making it sometimes more of a laugh than entertainment. We would have liked more variety with more jazz and better singers.

The facilities around the hotel were fine, with a swimming pool that was a little cold but equipped with a hot tub and sauna. The lounge in the lobby was a nice place to relax with a drink before dinner, and the hotel even had a bowling alley and a movie theater. The bowling alley was excellent for a night of good fun and with the wonky lanes made it a good laugh for the family.

The location of the hotel was fine, in a more peaceful place in Mayrhofen and it was only a 2 minute walk to either of the two ski bus stations with a bus running regularly to either the penken bahn or the hornberg bahn which were both connections to good ski areas connectible by ski. The quality of the snow was excellent on the first 4 days and even with the weather getting much warmer at the end of the week the slopes were groomed the best they could have been under those conditions. The ahornbahn was not much of a large place to ski and I would recommended it more for beginners.

Mayrhofen was a nice place especially for teenagers with facilities such as good apres ski and nice stores.

I would certainly return to Mayrhofen and Hotel Neuhaus.

we were quite anxious after readin the reviews on the hotel about what we would find when we got there? we went as a family of 3 gererations grandparents and 2 young children and never been on a snow holiday before. On arrival we were upgraded to one of the apartments which was lovely, clean and warn with loads of space. my parents were in the annex but again clean and comfortable. The main hotel itself is 1 min away across the road and all the facilities were superb.

The pool was lovely although slightly deep for little ones, the food was buffet continental breakfast until 10am. on out last day we left at 4.30am and they provided us with breakfast. evening meal was a 5 course meal waitress served we had a different menu on each nights (4nights). not huge meals but more than enough.

play area indoor and out out, bowling alley which was resonable priced. We are not skiers but went for the snow experience we did have to go up the mountain on the cable cars which added to the price but it was worth the experience and the kids loved it. 6euros for 2 toboggans which they had all day.

then only downside was the russians who seemed to holiday there not very sociable people didn't quite know how to brek into a smile.

can't comment on the skiing. we did wander around the village which was lovely but we seemed to have stayed in the more lively of hotels and this was by no means lively; same band on every night not very good but better than nothing.
horse and carridge ride was lovely. 90euros for 6 of us.

crystal reps were fab couldn't fault them nothing was tooo much trouble.

all in all i would reccomend this holiday.

This hotel is in the wonderfull city of Mayrhofen. It is in his downtown close to everything. Skibus stoped in front of hotel, and if You are go into this hotel for skiing he have very good position. Mayerhofen have two peaks Penken and Ahorn, and Hintertux Glacier is very close.Wellnes center is good, but work only till 19h. Food in hotel is excellent especialy dinner. Staff are gently, rooms are bigg with bigg bathroorom with two sinks.
The biggest problem with this hotel is internet!!! You must pay for wirless smthing about 8 euros per 1h. That is disaster!
This hotel for witersports is very good choice, and probably for summer too.

We booked this hotel through Inhams and did not realize this was 3 hotels together. We paid £630 for 3nights HB accomodation. When we arrived we were told we had been up graded to the ST Joseph as we had apparently booked the Landus 3* hotel. When we saw what we were up graded to we were horrified as it looked like a Travel Lodge with a balcony but at a huge cost. Tired, small room. Nothing extra like tissues or bathroom accessories. Thin towels. Dirty stained carpet, hot, net curtains.constant traffic noise. A lot of flies in the terrace bar! Few sun loungers or brollies.
We asked to be moved as we were not satisfied but were told we had already been up graded. Eventually they agreed to move us the next day which was a better room but still a rip off! Meals were ok but disorganised and other quests told us this was normal. Arrived at 7:45 one night to find nearly all the buffet food had been eaten. We would never stay at this hotel again as there are much nicer and cheaper ones in the town. this hotel is too large and is more like a Butlins Holiday camp making a profit at all costs.

We have just returned from a two week stay at the Neuhaus Hotel. We booked with Inghams which offered no options or up grades. We were in the Landhaus annex. The room was fairly big with a large balcony. We overlooked the farm which was not the best possible view. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, The food was plentiful and reasonable quality. We made a mistake of putting all our drinks at the bar and at dinner on the bill so it was a shock to find out how dear they were ( there was no price list to be seen)
A bottle of mineral water at €4.80 atime seemed a bit on the high side. The facilities at te hotel were good though the entetainment was not everyone's choice.

The postionof the hotel was excellent, just a minute from the bus and train stations.

Overall the hotel was OK

I was a business visit to Kaltenbach and wanted a hotel in Mayrhofen. My choice of Neuhaus was perfect. I was staying in a Suite with a balcony which gave me an amazing view of the mountains around. The rooms are cozy and well kept. The heating, I felt was insufficient but as the night wore on the room was warm. Neuhaus location makes it convenient for a traveler to roam around the woods and the village of Mayrhofen. The Suite rooms were silent and I don't remember in the 4 days I was there hearing any noise. The restaurant is quiet good and the staff out there was very patient with a guest like me. The bar is spacious with live music.
Cons- Breakfast was served in a dining hall which I found was a little too far from the rooms. The elevator was narrow and the corridors are ill lit which initially gave me creeps. The TV in the rooms dished out mostly German channels. Having some English entertainment channels is strongly suggested. The Suite rooms did not have an internet connection which means you had to come all the way to the lobby to use your Wireless device for browsing the net. Please check this before your take a room. Toiletries like Paste brush etc are provided on request. Same is the case with Bathrobe and slippers. This is not what is expected from a classic hotel like Neuhaus. Hence quick advice for travelers would be to check these points before they take the room.
And for those who are planning to visit Austria and Germany, I would suggest you land in Munich and drive to Mayrhofen. This is one beautiful place with Salzburg, Innsbruck at a few hours driving distance. And of course Tirol province is more for Skiing which makes me suggest this place and the Hotel for a calm and serene stay.

we found the rooms quite small for a 4 star hotel you had to pay an extra 10 euros a day per person to use the steam rooms & another 4 euros for robes, the staff were miserable and unhelpful, a smile every now and then would be nice & when we asked for water for the table we were told we could only have it if we bought wine at over 20 euros per bottle(even though we had all ordered other drinks)?! we complained because we had 3 childern in the group & did not want to ply them we cola all night, but were told it was management policy. We will not return there desipote the good location.
