This was our second visit. we travel as 3 couples, 1 single and this year took our 9 year old with us too. The boys all ski and the girls shp/sight see.
The transfer is effortless, 15 mins by cab from innsbruck. the hotel is very clean, the owners friendly and the food is adequate. The breakfast is plentiful and dinner is alright. I think it was a little samey each evening and not as good as last year. The skiing is good, had a family/local feel to it and is not crowded/touristy. There is a ski hire shop in the village just a few minutes walk away and the tram stop is also minutes away. This is a brilliant base from which to enjoy the skiiing and to have a cosy nights sleep. There is however very little to do in the village. You have to go to Innsbruck (easy on the tram) if you do not ski or if you fancy a break. Innsbruck is lovely but we have visited several times now. We personally would try somewhere else next year purely for some variety for the girls and some different ski runs/challenges for the boys. having said that I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel / ski area. It's affordable, safe, family option.More
