We stopped for lunch and came in based on the old formula that he restaurant where most were eating was fullest for a reason. the lovely view of the mountains on a gorgeous day was blocked by the nearby SPAR but tilt your head up a bit and what a setting.
As we were on the road to Switzerland we wanted a good local meal and that is exactly what we got. My wife had the day special onion meat roast (which was a large rump steak with roti and beans in a bacon wrap. Excellent was the verdict. My pork Wiener schnitzel was also excellent but I wish I had been more adventurous.
€ 32.10 for 2 with an apple juice and, writing this 6 hours later, I am still full.
