“Kids loved it!”

Great day out, plenty to amuse a 5 year old and a 7 year old (and Dad). Teriffic location half way up the Kitzbuler Horn, worth going to the top station to see the scenery first.

Staff helpful and at least one of them was English to give safety instructions. Don't expect to have your hand held though, you are expected to look after yourselves(though there is always someone nearby if needed).

“Brilliant - but I'm getting a bit old for this stuff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2013

The Hornpark is like a giant Go-Ape (i.e swings, climbs, zip wires and other obstacles high up in trees). It is half way up the mountain from St Johann and you can but a combination ticket for the gondola and the park. Unlike Go-Ape you can stay as long as you like and complete each obstacle course as many times as you like. The courses are graded from beginner to advanced - I managed them all except the last one, the kids managed them all, but they last couple were really tough - harder than the Go-ape courses I would say. The zip wires were long, and went over the lake for added excitement. Throw in the fantastic mountain views and you have the perfect day out for a family with adventurous kids!
The cost for 2 adults and 2 kids (one charged as an adult) was 105 euro's which included the gondola ride to the middle station - well worth it, and cheaper than the equivalent parks in the UK

“Great fun for all ages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2013 via mobile

The trip to Hornpark starts with a 8min Gondola ride over the forest. An all day pass and gondola ticket costs €29. There are 5 x obstacle courses with everyone increasing in difficulty, also there's 2x flying fox courses which vary from 10-200meters in length.

This day would have been top class had the welcoming of staff been of happy spirits. They were un happy unhelpful with low moral and knowledge.but all that aside it's a must say out
