This restaurant is right up on the top of Scheffau and only accessible via the ski lifts. You can get the gondola from Scheffau and ski down a blue run, or walk!!
We ate here 4 days in a row during half term. It gets very busy but the self service queue is managed very well meaning that your food is still hot when you sit to eat.
Over the week, our group sampled the currywurst, pancake soup, goulash soup, cheese pattie burger and fries, Tirolean special dishes along with a few other bits! All very nice and reasonable prices. The goulash soup was like a stew, huge bowl served with bread and just under 7 Euros...
Would definitely recommend this for a lunch stop whilst skiing but would also recommend that you arrive a little before midday or after 1.30pm as it got very busy during half term week.
Probably not so bad out of school holidays!
