We found this wonderful, quiet place through Skiwelt's homepage; www.skiwelt.at. We found it very cheap and almost too good to be true as it is situated next to a red slope going right down to Söll. Here you can take the gondola to the top of Hohe Salve.
We stayed in a doubleroom with our own bathroom (ensuite). The room was clean and it was cleaned everyday during our stay. We had half-board, which was of a very high standard taken the price into account. You can choose to buy beer or soft drinks with the meal - you can choose what you want from a fridge at the entrance to the small dining hall. From the dining hall you have a wonderful view over the valley.
The hosts are very helpful and the dog Laila is always welcoming you. You can borrow a sledge for free if you want to try sledging. The slope for sledging is just next to the red slope going to Söll.
Beware that the red slope can be icey, if the weather conditions are bad (plus degrees and not enough snow). In case you're not a good skier, you should consider going to the valley before taking the red slope down to the lifts at Söll (at least the first day).
I would say that snowchains are mandatory if there's snow in the valley, though you don't have to go that far uphill.
