I am rating this as pension accommodation for pilgrimage tours to Medugorje and I don’t think the owners pretend to offer luxury accommodation here. There are no phones or TV's here and beds and bedding are very basic. It has been expanded and remodeled since their web site was made. The proprietor was courteous and accommodating to our group.

Apparition hill was a pleasant 20 minute walk and the church about 10 minutes. We took a 5 Euro cab ride to Krizevac hill. The pension is on a busy traffic corner but the town is absolutely dead at night and the windows are of good quality so we slept well anyway.

My wife had some (mosquito?) bites on her legs while sleeping and others in our group reported this as well. The management wanted keys kept in a basket on the reception counter, but reception was not staffed and the front doors were not locked during the day. So there were concerns regarding security. To make phone calls we could use the phone in the attached smoky bar at 70 Euro cents per minute to call adjacent countries. The WIFI worked but the connection was too slow to make a seat selection on our airline’s site.

The breakfast could be improved - for breakfast there was a small buffet that included a rather nasty thin baloney and processed cheese slices. In a country that grows fruit we had a banana. We supplemented this with fruit we bought along the street – lovely figs, plums, and strawberries.

The tables were nicely set for our group’s evening meal and the service was prompt, but the food was not always satisfying. For supper we started with canned or packaged soups that sometimes had too much water. Vegetables were partly canned although there was a fresh lettuce or tomato salad. Red and white wine was served and I thought the white was OK, while the red seemed musty to my taste. Friday night we were served frozen fish sticks and fries. We bought spinach and meat pastries along the street that we enjoyed a lot more.

I would probably look at other accommodations for our next visit, but this is not a bad option.

When I read earlier reviews , I thought that we must be talking of a different pansions, 'cause I had the best time ever in this lovely place , and I must say I will definitely return again here . Food is excellent, staff very helpfull and always on Your desposal .
Very clean , only 300m from the church , and to be honest apart from other places , no one disturbs you here . As our plane arrived late that day , so we came to hotel almost at midnight , but they were welcomed as it was noon , and not so late in the night . As I travell a lot , and have seen everything , I was really surprised to find such lovely people , 'cause you should try to arrive late in France or other places , they will not be so gentle and give you late meal , as this hotel Forum mira did .
We are really thankfull and hope to see you soon , ....
