We stayed for one night (got in late + left early) on our way to camping in Joshua Tree. It was quiet and clean, but the bed was uncomfortable - you could feel the springs! Also, the toilet didn't flush proper unless you held the handle down. Last year we stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn Express, which was much nicer. Of course it was twice as much but you did get a pretty good breakfast included.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for your kind comments about our clean and quite hotel near Joshua Tree. I’m sorry that the bed wasn’t as comfortable as you would have liked. Most guests enjoy the beds we provide, but we understand this is a highly subjective thing. In any case, I’m pleased we were able to provide a better rate than our competitors and I hope you’ll use us again in the future. Sine we’re changing and improving now, we’ll provide a nicer experience next time.

Sincerely,
Hotel Manager

We spent one night here on a recent visit to Joshua Tree National Park. Our room was clean and the motel has a great looking pool and pretty grounds. The bathroom was very small and tight. A/C worked well. The beds were pretty soft and uncomfortable.....we prefer a firmer mattress. There were some rather questionable "ladies" hanging around and walking through in the early-to-mid evening.

Room Tip: Book a room in the back of the complex, away from the traffic noise.

Dear Guest,

Thank for your comments. I’m glad you had an acceptable experience. We didn’t notice any questionable people around the hotel at the time of your stay. Since this is a safe and quiet neighborhood, something like that would have stood out. In any case, we’re making a number of changes that should make for a better experience the next time you stay with us. Our focus in on getting better and better with each passing day.

Sincerely,
Hotel Manager

Nice hotel does all the little things right. Enjoyed my stay clean and reasonably priced. Nice people.
A little oasis in the desert. Close to Joshua tree monument. October is a good time to go as it is not too hot. Incredible drive and hiking through Joshua Tree monument .

We needed a place to stay before exploring the Joshua Tree National Park. From the road it looked clean and inviting. The front desk staff were very nice and informative of the area, restaurants and such. The room was small but clean, indicative of the price we paid. No noise at night even though its right next to the highway.
The local residents all seemed very friendly and helpful, we really liked this little town, we'll be back to visit again for sure.
