This is a very nice beach. There is some tricky currents towards the north end. Waves can be big but there are life guards. While I was there a middle aged lady was assisted out of the water by two by standers by the time the lifeguards got down to that end. Not sure what the issue was. There are some rocks so boogie boarders and body surfers will need to watch for that. One young woman was simply knocked down by a wave and scraped her knee badly on a rock at the edge of the water. Some really nice shaded areas, restrooms, sand volleyball court and located right on allii drive. Parking is parallel by the beach or a public parking area just a little ways from the beach. Beautiful clear water and white sand.
