“Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

The tour was fun, the staff were friendly and informative, the food was tasty but very small portions. The farm and soap company owned by Greg and his partner was very entertaining. The other two houses were like attending house tours. We could have gone to a couple open houses on the beach and gone for lunch at a good restaurant for a fraction of the price. The tour was 4 hours and the houses were in close proximity to our hotel. Very overpriced.

“A scenic, informative, and tasting experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2014

This was the perfect way to experience Hawaii in a new way after many prior visits. I appreciated the small group experience, the local information, and the wonderful variety of foods at each of our three stops. We even received some of the local recipes from the foods we samples. Each home was unique with dramatic views of the ocean, hills, agricultural and seeing some whales - in the distance. The breezes were soft, the conversations were comfortable. This was a wonderful way to spend the morning and experience Hawaii in new ways.

“BEST EVER Cruise Ship Excursion”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

Having visited the Hawaiian Islands many times, my mother and I were intrigued by this unique excursion offering when our ship stopped in Kona on the Big Island. We had a wonderful time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone and if we return to either Kona or Hilo we plan to seek it out again as we know we will visit different houses. Our hostess was Lisa Christian, the current owner of the business and her food was delicious. But, more than the food the information about Hawaiian culture and her life on Hawaii that she shared with us as we toured three different homes was very interesting. Each of the homes we visited had views, each one was a little different than the others. At two of the homes we were able to interact with the owners, who also shared their Hawaiian experiences. If you get the chance go on this tour!

“Lovely Brunch Tour of the Kona Area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013

We went on Lisa Christian's impressive Home Tours Hawaii last week. This was a lovely informative way to start our vacation, and we had a great time and enjoyed some very good food. This is a progressive brunch at three different local's houses. She drove us in vans to House #1 which was the beautiful pod home of the estate of the Kona Natural Soap makers. We were served 100% Kona coffee (estate grown) guava juice. Portuguese sausage, chocolate espresso bread, Banana Macadamia Nut Bread, and Taro Malasada (melt-in-your-mouth Taro donuts) We then had a interesting tour of the soap making process by one of the partners.
House #2 was more of a 'normal' 1-storey house that was built to catch the trade winds. We were served Mango & Papaya Gazpacho, Kona Chips, pineapple boats and Lilikoi (Passion fruit) iced tea.
House #3 was a beautiful 2-storey vacation rental in the beautiful Captain Cook area. We were served divine Chicken Macadamia Nut Stuffed strawberry Papayas, Organic Greens with fried Wonton & white pineapple. Ginger Marinated Shrimp and the 4th course was Lilikoi Cheesecake, Island Style Macaroons and Hawaiian Bread pudding. It sounds like a lot of food, but Lisa and her crew proportioned it well.

“Awesome Ship Excursion”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2013

Did this tour a week ago when cruising the islands and I must say it was awesome. Lisa was our driver and she is simply the best. The home we toured were beautiful and the food was great. Lisa made me feel right at home and I have recommended her to everyone I know going to Hawaii. I will definitely be doing this tour again on my next cruise. Two thumbs up. Lisa thanks for making my stop in Hilo so memorable.

Thank you for the two thumbs up! We are so glad you enjoyed our tour! And thank you for recommending us to your friends visiting the Big Isle. Repeat customers and word of mouth are what make a small business like ours so rewarding.
