Definitely not your typical Japanese steak house in the US. This is a nice small restaurant in the rear of the shopping complex with views of the bay. They have a nice menu of pupus and some larger dishes. The cooking area is open to the dining area so you can see the chefs preparing your food behind the counter facing you. The grilled chicken on a stick was good as was the grilled mushrooms, the sea salad, and the soup. Order several small dishes to share. Prices are reasonable too.
