“Totally awesome!”

Let me start off by stating that I am disabled. I have an above knee amputation. I had no trouble hoping out of my wheelchair and climbing in. So if you are disabled and can transfer well then you should go! We were the 1st flight of the day. We took the 1 and 1/2 to 2 hour tour. It was at least 2 hours. Our pilot Marco was fantastic. He has great knowledge of Hawaii. We did see lava. Not a lot. There were several vents where you could see the lava. We came across a new vent that was flowing near some trees. When it hit the trees they would go up in a big puff of white smoke. A real awesome sight! Marco said that was not there the day before. After the lava we flew up the coast to see all the water falls. The views were just spectacular! We flew all around the various falls. He then took us to see a 1941 B18 plane crash. After that he was turning and burning through the valleys and we got some up close views of the falls. We got great pictures and video of everything. It was so worth it! I highly recommend these guys! Other then swimming with the dolphins this was the best part of our vacation! I have several brownie points with the wife now!

“Great people; okay view”

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked our pilot, Kalei. The music soundtrack was great and perfectly timed at points. Did not like the back facing seat and would not utilize a helicopter with a back facing seat again. Also, thought the second hour was rushed even though we had plenty of time to spare.

Aloha and thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with the Paradise team. We really do pride ourselves on the level of customer care that our staff and pilots take on. As far as the aft-facing seat, we choose this configuration because it allows us to put more people into window seats than our competitors with similarly sized helicopters. Regardless, we're sorry to hear that it wasn't for you. We'll also look into the sense of hurry that you experienced. The last thing we want is for passengers to feel rushed on their relaxing vacation to Hawaii! Again, thank you for flying with us and for taking the time to let us know your concerns. Mahalo nui loa.

“Great day”

Fantastic flight and the pilot, Darren, was truely outstanding.Great knowledge and piloting.
Land portion of trip could have been longer, and perhaps more geology on ground as well
as discussed.
However, a great combination of ground and air.
Indeed, the northern flight equaled or exceeded the southern portion in interest and beauty.
Kudos to all, including the ground crew, both at Kona and Hilo

“awesome experience”

Pilot Kohji took us today for a 3 hour ride - we could see floating lava, volcanic fog, a lot of water, the wreck of a world war II bomber in the middle of the jungle and a 360 degrees rainbow.
Even the booking procedure was very pleasant, the ground crew was super friendly and helped us with everything necessary ( explanations about what to wear, what to take with us, ...) I would definetely fly this tour again if I ever will return to Big Island again. Thanks a lot guys, this was a perfect day.
