A little by accident we went last night to Splashers Grill. Both of us chose the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs done in a guava BBQ Sauce. The meat fell of the bones and the sauce was a nice combination of sweet and spicy - not too much of either. The restaurant is located on the second floor and overlooks Kona harbor. It is a good location overlooking the ocean and offering good sunsets. Last night we had entertainment by Ponchoman Kuanoni who sang and played the ukelele. He had a nice combination of old tunes and some new contemporary Hawaiian songs that he wrote. Good food, nice location, friendly staff, and entertainment sometimes. All for a reasonable price. We plan to return for lunch to try their Reuben sandwich which several people recommended.
