Absolutely magnificent! Humpback whales, orca whales, dolphins, salmon, sea lions"........everywhere you look it's breath taking. Did I mention the glaciers?

I have spent a week in Alaska with my children driving around. I drove to Denali and Fairbanks. Today we took the Resurrection Bay boat tour. This topped everything. The views were amazing. Also we saw seals, puffins, mountain goats, sea otters, bird colonies, dolphins, glaciers and other things. It was amazing. Everyone should do this.

We love Resurrection Bay. Drop-dead beautiful, full of whales, porpoise, sea lions, seals and birds among blue glaciers ands tall mountains. Beats Whittier by a long shot and I think more beautiful and accessible than Homer and Cook's. And the fishing is the best.

We like the restaurants that offer dinner with a view.

We do not like the endless RVs and trucks as we drive south on HWY 1 & 9.

We like the public access (for free) to Resurrection Bay.

We love the several mountains with verdant and snow.

Beautiful area, no matter what the weather I'm guessing, though in June, 2014, it was wonderful!
We saw the area from land and boat.
