friendly checkin, room as advertised Breakfast items tasty and plentiful. We are from Homer and brought our 2 grandkids and daughter ( live in Oregon) to Seward to see Sealife center before Airport next day in Anchorage to fly home. Great B&B, will stay here again when we are in Seward. very close to downtown Seward and activities at Harbor.

We stayed at Bears Den 3 with our two grown sons. The place was immaculate and yet really comfortable and welcoming. After a week on a cruise ship, it was just what we needed. Walked to the local supermarket, picked up some groceries and had a steak dinner using their grill. We did not pick up a car rental until we left two days later, so we got around by walking or taking a cab -- $5 to the heart of town. The owners opened their doors to us even earlier the day we arrived as there had been no one there the night before. It was great dropping off our suitcases so we were free of them while on our Kenai Fjord boat tour. They also treated us to some delicious home baked cookies. And the day we left, they recommended places for us to see as we headed north. And we took them up on their suggestions. Well worth it.

Room Tip: They have three different accommodations. Spoke to the owner about our needs, and she was right on.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bear's Den. Our group rented out Dens 2 and 3 and both were clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The inn is conveniently located fairly close (5-10 min walk) to the small boat harbor and cruise dock and you can also utilize the Seward city shuttle to get downtown.

One caveat: the inn is not a true B&B in the traditional sense. Although we were provided a generous basket full of continental breakfast items (danishes, bagels, oatmeal etc), the inn does not include a full hot breakfast. In fact, we never even met the innkeepers at all during our 2 day stay. We had a good experience here and would recommend it to others, but just wanted to point out that it is not the traditional B&B that we are accustomed to.

Room Tip: Den 2 has separate small master bedroom with queen bed and another queen bed in the living room area...

Owners went out their way to meet us after fishing! Great people. I stay there every spring and they look after us by getting the winter rates that helps to make it a great value with the 10 people we travel with!

This was like a touch of home after over 7,000 miles of driving. The owners thought of everything travelers might need. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, especially the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and the ample breakfast supplies. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here only one quick night, in Den 1. Good location, nice selection of baked goods and hot teas (we arrived to POURING rain), comfortable accommodations. Friendly host. Would stay here again.

This wonderful family owned business is a great place to stay in Seward. Clean, comfortable and the folks are very friendly, they even brought us homebaked cookies. It is in a good location close to the harbor and the grocery store. My family has stay there several times and loved it!!!!!
