We stayed 2 nights in Brass Lantern in August 2012. Maureen was both friendly and helpful. She made us felt welcome.
It's within walking distance to the downtown area, yet it's situated on a quiet street. The unit is attached to the main part of the house with its own entrance. It's not too big but would be very comfortable for 2-4 people. We had 5 in our traveling party so my son had to sleep on an air bed. We asked for a roll-away but unfortunately they didn't have that. It was not a big deal since we had a short stay.
Breakfast selection was good. The full cooking facility also allow you to cook your own meals. There was WIFI available. However the feature that impressed us the most was its cleanness. It really made us felt at home!More
