My wife and I just returned from a 2 week trip on motorcycles through Alaska for our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Inn on our first night out of Anchorage on July 23rd. It was a wonderful way to kick-off our trip. When I reserved the room Debra told me that one night in Seward was not enough and she was definitely right. The appearance of the inn from the outside while presentable does not reflect the very comfortable decor inside. The details like the personolized welcome on the door made us feel right at home. We hope to return to Alaska in the next couple of years and will plan on returning to Annie’s again. Thank you for adding to the great experience we had while on our first trip to Alaska.

We stayed for 2 nights at Annie's Anchor Inn. The Inn is located in downtown Seward. We booked the room through a lady named Debra. She was very quick and efficient about confirming our booking. We arrived in the evening and there was a note on the door welcoming us. The door was unlocked and keys were on the table. The units appear to be 1 bedroom apartments now converted into an inn. The unit had a fairly large living room, lots of storage space, full size kitchen, fridge, bathtub w/ shower, a small table in the kitchen, a larger table in the living room, and 1 bedroom. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided in the shower. The couch pulls out into a bed. My mom slept on the pull out bed and she said that it was comfortable. The bed in the bedroom was really soft. I like soft beds, but this was almost too soft for me.

The unit was really clean except for a couple places in the kitchen. A spot on the floor near the trash can was sticky and some of the dishes could have been a bit cleaner.

We decided to pay with cash since an extra 5% was charged to pay with a credit card. The instructions left for us required us to drop the money off at Debra's office. Her office was inside of a house. It was a bit odd walking into someone's house to drop the money off for our room. The office is close to the inn.

Overall, a cute and nice place to stay in Seward. There is lots of space in the unit. It is a good place to stay if you have kids.

My wife and I stayed at Annie's Anchor Inn along with our daughter and her husband in July 2013. We had adjoining 1 bedroom units that shared a common entrance. The units are spacious with an adequate kitchen, comfortable furnishings and all the conveniences of home. It's located in the middle of Seward and if you enjoy a little exercise you can walk to any place in Seward. It's located in a residential neighborhood and very quiet. We spent four nights there and loved it. I would definitely recommend Annie's Anchor Inn to friends and family.

Room Tip: The structure is made up of four 1-bedroom units under one roof. The two outside units (1 and 4) ha...

Did not even bother to book a room here, the lady who answered the phone to book a room was so incredibly rude I had no interested in staying there! I work in the service industry myself here in Alaska, and am frequently asked where would be a good place to stay. It is good to keep in mind that a little professional conduct and kindness can quickly transformed into a repeat customer who would recommend your establishment… Just as quickly as rudeness can transform into businesses downfall.

My husband and I stayed here two nights while staying in Seward. It was great to have the extra space for a family room and kitchen for the same price as another hotel. The puzzles, games and cable were a nice way to split up the rainy weather with Kenai. We would definitely stay again-very clean, comfortable, and its a great value.

Everything in town was booked when we came across Annie's Anchor Inn. The price looked good and the reviews were positive. They were right! It was easy to find, get into and was beautifully decorated. We loved that it was 2 blocks from the water so we could take a nice walk in the morning. Complimentary coffee and tea was a great touch. The bed was SO comfortable. Two people in our group slept on the couch fold out bed and said it was fairly comfortable as well. Great choice in Seward!

What a pleasant surprise when we arrived at Annie's Anchor Inn. Very nicely decorated place and a kitchen that has been supplied if you what to cook.
