We stayed for one night . Its a small and neat place so do not expect anything fancy. However it is very neat (compare to other expensive stays in Alaska) and well maintained. The lady at front desk -"Mary" is very nice to chat to , We spoke to her for some time to learn more about local life in Seward and Norther Lights. She shared a lot of information and also some really cool pictures/Videos of Galciers, Norhern lights.

We did see few other guests being very rude and mentioning that its a small place very loud and rudely . Here is my take on it, Its a Neat and well kept place that you can get on Budget. You get what you pay for so DO NOT WINE , if you are so bother - Go to any other super fancy and expensive hotels is the town.

Note - This place does not have refreigrator and Microwave in the room and we were not surprised as Most of the hotels we stayed in Alaska , do not have it in room.
However there is a Microwave in the office area , use it when required.

Room Tip: Rooms on the Corner up side ( example room #14) has Beautiful view and are more quieter.

The service was very good. The place is very basic and not terribly comfortable. We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Seward and this about what I expected. The area is very expensive so it is a good, basic place.

The inn was clean and everything was functioning. Check in was fine. The room was very basic - no fridge, no shampoos, no restaurant, no breakfast, no biscuits, no microwave - basically a bed and some towels.

Now it's Seward, and everything is expensive, but this was the most expensive hotel we styed at anywhere in Alaska, and it was one of the most basic (and no harbour view).

You may not be able to do better, but I'd try to if you can.

We made the reservation for the Harborview Inn on the internet. When we arrived to check in, the reservation was there and we had a room on the first floor right by our parking spot. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, courteous and efficient. The whole check-in procedure took less than 1 minute. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom set-up was a little strange, but OK. There wasn't a continental breakfast. The rate was a little high, but so is everything else in Alaska. There were plenty of towels and pillows. Overall, the Harborview Inn was a satisfactory stay for us.

Room Tip: Book early as there aren't a lot of places to stay in Seward. To get a view of the harbor, you will need to be on the second floor.

No hot water, no repairs, excuses, absolutely nothing done to help!

Oh and what Harbor view? View of a highway, gravel parking lot and rundown house next door. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.

Room Tip: Find another hotel, don't waste your money. They put no effort in providing hot water. They just said that's the way it is.
