We weren't real hungry and we decided to have a chowder smackdown by having a bow of chowder and a beer at Seward Brewing and then going to Rays to try their chowder. Seward Brewing had the best chowder we had on our entire trip in Alaska. It was full of seafood, clams, crab, fish and the flavor was real good and it wasn't watered down or full of potatoes. The beer was decent, I just wish they had had their stout on tap since it was cool and drizzly outside but the porter was tasty. The service was ok; we sat at the bar and it was fairly busy.
