“Experience of a Life time!”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Stopped by this morning for a send off departing from Seward, AK. A time to remember the excellent service with an amazing crepe. Friendly local folks with a style all there own. We had the spinach reindeer sausage with cheese, along with the strawberry rhubarb crepe. No words can describe how great these dishes are! Large portion exceptional value!
We sat in amazement of all the personal items in the room that told a story of the owners life. The warm friendly atmosphere will continue to bring us for a return visit for a fabulous meal with wonderful hospitality.
The note in the window, said" if it weren't for the rocks in the bed the river would have no song." Ivon and Janet have a very special song, stop by to listen and experience a memory of a life time.

“Mom and pop crepes”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

We drove out to try the infamous crepes. We were under the impression that they served a full breakfast but they only have crepes. We ordered a strawberry and blueberry crepe which was very good and the coffee was excellent. The dining room is tiny and somewhat warm as the owner cooks the crepes in the room with you. He is highly entertaining and amusing, however. I would go back just to hang out with him.

“Belgian Creperie”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

I LOVED this place! Had their breakfast Crepe du Jour with reindeer sausage. It was huge; I could easily have shared it, had I not been alone. Loved the food and Yvon and Janet so much that I returned the next day on my way out of Seward, to enjoy the Strawberry-Rhubarb crepe. What a fun and special and delicious place!

“Don't Miss This!”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

Visit this spot to meet Yvon -- a 77-year-old Minister-turned-dive master-turned-crepe master who moved to Alaska from Belgium 49 years ago. He makes the best )and biggest) darn crepes you've ever had. And if you're a tea drinker, he'll pick a tea pot for you by looking at you and deciding it fit your personality. They just don't make them like Yvon anymore. We adored him, his lovely wife, and the amazing meal we enjoyed. Don't miss this experience!
