We spent 2 nights at the sourdough BnB. The home was beautifully built! Our room was lovely and cozy! Our breakfasts of sourdough pancakes and bacon were wonderful! The owners were friendly, funny, and very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay here!!

We stayed at the Sourdough Sunrise for 2 nights. The guesthouse is separate from the family home, built by our host. Our room had 2 queen size beds and a private bath on the second floor. Very nice. All 3 rooms are on the second floor with a common area and a small fridge being shared by all rooms. Each morning Richard made us sourdough pancakes, fresh fruit and the best bacon! Richard was a wealth of knowledge on the area. The neighborhood was rustic on an unpaved road. Exit Glacier was right down the street with an easy to moderate trail up to the glacier.

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful B&B, a little outside of downtown Seward towards Exit glacier. You need a car but it is worth living at this place. It is a very quiet and typical Alaskan- Style house built by the owner. Fantastic beautiful details everywhere in the house. The 3 rooms are on the 1st floor. There is also a terrace and a little kitchenette with fridge and plates etc. The breakfasts are served on the main floor and Richard prepares beautiful pancakes, fruits and more with a lot of passion. Both, Sue and Richard are very good hostess. There is a very good restaurant in the neighborhood, named Resurrection lodge. We can recommend this place.

A lot of heart went into building this lovely house in Seward. It’s clean and neat, and the essentials are here, but the refrigerator is shared, so label what’s yours. Very near to “Exit Glacier” and close to activities for Resurrection Bay. Breakfast is great for socializing, but I’m not crazy about the sourdough pancakes. As with most places in Alaska, remove your shoes when you come inside! People we spoke with who stayed elsewhere had a lot of concerns – and we had none, so this is where you should stay!

We stayed in the Sourdough which was a separate building than where the owners lived made up of 3 rooms and a common area. It was in a perfect location situated between the town of Seward and the Exit Glacier. Everything was clean and the breakfast was amazing!
