There is nothing wrong with Ruth's Chris in general, but are are better choices available. The steaks at Ruth's Chris are corn-fed (bad for the animal, bad for the human), and once a diner has had grass-fed and grass-finished beef, corn-fed just will not satisfy the palate any more. This particular Ruth's Chris is well-run, clean, accurate, and worth a visit if one does not mind corn-fed beef.

To spend the amount of money it takes to get a steak and wine at Ruth's Chris is probably not logical since there are grass-fed alternatives.

From the welcoming atmosphere, outstanding service and perfectly prepared food, our New Year's Eve dinner was absolutely divine! We have dined at Ruth's Chris throughout the US, and none compare with the one in Kennesaw - absolutely the best!

One note: This restaurant is in a hotel. Because of this, the restrooms are quite a distance from the dining area. Be prepared to walk!

We were traveling on Christmas Day and we were worried about what would be open that night for dinner, so I checked on Open Table & discovered that our main choices were Melting Pot or Ruth's Chris Steak house. We didn't feel like fondue after driving all day from Chicago, so decided on Ruth's Chris. The restaurant called us the day before our reservation to confirm and let us know that because of Cobb County Liquor laws, no alcohol would be served on Chrismas Day. We used to live in Kennesaw years ago, so we were familliar with the crazy liquor laws in GA, but we both laughed and thought there would be some surprised diners that night...and we were right!

We discovered that the restaurant is actually in an Embassy Suites hotel, which seemed really strange. I am shocked that Ruth's Chris didn't build their own free-standing restaurant in the area. To me, Ruth's Chris and Embassy Suites are not the greatest fit for each other. The restaurant looked like your typical hotel restaurant, not like a Ruth's Chris - especially the recent ones that we've visited. As we walked in, there was a woman at the host station complaining bitterly about not being able to get a glass of wine on Christmas Day. Welcome to Cobb County, GA!

We were seated at a nice table in a room that was 1/2 full with other diners. I looked around and noticed that everyone had water to drink, no one was bothering to purchase a soft drink. We both ordered a filet and split a salad and baked potato. The food was good and the service was fine. Dinner for the two of us was $99 - the cheapest we have ever eaten here! It was strange to not have a glass of wine with such a nice meal, but what are you going to do? I don't know if I would go here again, there are lots of other restaurants in the Kennesaw area and I saw an interesting Japanese restauarant that was also open on Christmas Day that I would have like to have tried. But the meal was fine and it tasted great after driving for 12 hours.
