Just eaten Sunday lunch here. The situation could not be more idyllic, sitting right on the side of the old fishing port of Douarnenez with its myriad of brightly painted small boats bobbing on their moorings within thirty feet of the restaurant.
The menu is simple with about six items to choose from on each course but all are produced superbly using the freshest of ingredients. You do have to like fish and seafood, as these are the predominant choices on offer. If you enjoy puddings try the chef's chocolate soufflé with salted butter caramel - simply delicious. The couple who run the restaurant could not be more helpful and one of them speaks very good English. Prices are very reasonable. Under forty euros for a three course lunch with two aperitifs and a small carafe of rosé wine. Excellent.
