This was our forth visit to the hotel. The staff are young and enthusiastic. The rooms are large and overlook the lake or the golf course. They are well equipped. The area is very quiet and the golf reasonable. The restaurant is quiet but the menu is good as is the service. The booking was through Brittany Ferries.

Just back after a 4 day golf trip and overall, while very happy with the golf courses and pleased enough with the accommodation the hotel was not great. The 18 hole golf course is excellent for golfers of all standards as it's quite wide open and forgiving, with some great holes (the 5th & 16th in particular) and the 9 hole course is a tricky little thing with some very interesting holes. The accommodation was fine, with a nice powerful shower and decent space/comfort, but the restaurant wasn't great. There were 2 set menu's, €17 and €30, and the food on both was nothing more than fine. As mentioned in a previous review the portions varied quite considerably from person to person, though service from the waiters was pretty good.

My biggest issue was the fact that this is a golf resort and we were staying on the weekend of the Ryder Cup, yet there were no facilities to watch the competition on TV. Not only this, but no sporting options on the TV at all. This is pretty poor form tbh. We were able to catch a very stop-start Internet stream, and to be fair the staff allowed us to hook our laptop up to the projector across the hall but we couldn't enjoy the golf due to the nature of the stream. You would never have this sort of situation in a resort in the UK or Ireland so I don't understand why it was the case here.

The overall feel from our group, who have stayed in this hotel for the past 4 - 5 years was that the quality has dropped and that we/they won't be going back there next year.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a long weekend and didn't want to leave. The setting was stunning and we enjoyed relaxing on our balcony in the evening while looking out over the golf course.

Located just far enough outside of Dinan to be a great getaway and with a restaurant on site you didn't need to leave if you wanted a night in!

The only downsides were the WiFi only worked in reception for us and the breakfast wasn't great, however the room made up for it!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms overlooking the golf course!

Near Saint Malo, in the countryside, this hotel have a very friendly staff and the rooms are excellent, with mezzanine for the kids. Very quiet, with a wood around.

Room Tip: Room near the wood are quiet, but I guess the others too :)

A five night golf break organised by Britanny Ferries was let down by a hotel that lacked in many aspects its "Bronze Rating" as part of the Hotel Preference Group. It is rated as 3 star but regretably falls short of this criteria. The hotel is described as having two restaurants- it has only one. The set menu at 27 euros for three courses or 22 euros for two has five or six choices for courses and is good value. However there is no consistancy in portions, it varied as witnessed by my group over five nights and on some occasions it was only warm. The staff varied from excellent especially the waiters to indifference by others.
Breakfast was served in what was last year their restaurant which had linen tableclothes
but this became very crowded and was maintaintained by only one member of staff. He was extremley personable and helpful but was overworked consequently the buffet regularly ran out of scrambled eggs (the only cooked item available, bacon was served on the first day but not subsequently), coffee, hot milk and on one day there was no fresh baguettes or croissants!
The rooms were comfortable but the advertised teelvision channels were not available. We had three and no English channels which were advertised as obtainable. When this was bought to the attention of the reception staff we were informed it was broken but with no idea whether it would be fixed.
The saving grace of the venue is the golf course which is both challenging and in excellent condition. A credit to the ground staff.
In summary there is a perceived need for staff to have more direction and to be advised on the necessity to clear tables when guests have left. A great golf course but would I stay there again - no. I would find another hotel locally and just play the golf course.

Room Tip: If you have to stay ask for a ground floor room

We stayed here with a bike tour around Brittany. It is a somewhat spartan golf hotel, with good food, ample buffet breakfasts, wifi in the main lodge, decent air conditioning, and a pleasant location. It is definitely out in the country -- car required unless you're either biking or playing golf all the time.

We had a three night stay with unlimited golf which was fantastic value for money. The golf was incredible with absolutely no crowds at all. The hotel is a long way from any local facilities and if we hadn't had the car would have to have taken a taxi to get some cash or buy some sun screen!! We thought it unbelievable that the pro shop on site didn't stock any basics at all. The restaurant was good but quite expensive and there was really much option other than to eat there. Unlike previous reviews we did not encounter the breakfast "raiders" so were happy to find a good breakfast with plenty of variety. All in all both the course and hotel are set in beautiful surroundings and would really recommend it for couples of all abilities.
