Manoir de Ker-Huella
Ranked #2 of 10 Morlaix B&B and Inns

This is a super B+B - a beautiful old manor house set in gorgeous gardens. Our room had a lovely outlook over the gardens and on down into the town, and a very modern and comfortable bathroom. Perhaps a few too many dolls around for my taste, but the breakfast was lovely and we'd happily stay again.

A beautiful and charming place to stay... like something out of a movie. Stunning grounds and beautiful room. Close to everything yet still quiet, felt like a country estate but it's in the middle of town. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and our hosts Phillipe and Mariam were so so welcoming and accommodating. We will certainly stay there again.

A very welcoming bed and breakfast with beautifully decorated rooms, within walking distance of the city center. For any traveling animal lovers there are plenty of cats and a very friendly dog. The owner-operators are friendly and easy-going and gave us great advice on visiting the surroundings. The breakfast was very good and if we return to Morlaix we will stay here again.

Amazingly eclectic, stylish and very classy without feeling snobby. The house is very welcoming and feels like an oasis in the incredible busy town of Morlaix. We arrived on our bicycles after a hot day and were welcomed in style. The manoir is in beautiful grounds and close to town, although it is pretty steep on the way down. Don't miss the lower level of the viaduct as a route down, it is a real 'wow' experience.

Good breakfast and thank-you to Phillipe for useful advice to find the cycle path out of town.

We would love to stay here again!

This circa 1900 manor house is beautiful and set in lovely large grounds with ample parking space and a few animals! Inside it is full of period furniture and dolls/puppets/ornaments/paintings so if you like minimalist this may not be to your taste. The bathroom was modern though !
Breakfast was taken all together round an enormous table and was good.
The price was very good and the owners very pleasant and helpful.
It is about a ten minute walk from the town centre uphill

I couldn't agree less with reviews submitted by Marek010 and Saigon52 and have to say that I am sorry to read that their experiences were so different from my own.
I arrived with a friend with whom I was enjoying a cycling holiday in Brittany. Though we arrived late in the day our hostess, Myriam, was able to provide with a room each - at that time she had only two doubles and we were looking for a twin room or singles. The price, however, was acceptable to us so we went ahead and hoped that they would be able to accommodate us for a second night. Although rooms were booked for the second night Myriam managed to make arrangements for us to move into a twin room. This involved asking a couple who, like us, had arrived by bicycle to move into one of the double rooms thus freeing up the room with a double and single bed.
Breakfast was good and sufficient. It was taken with other guests at a large table so we did have an opportunity to thank the couple that had moved to vacate a room for us and to chat about the surrounding area and plans for the day.
The Manoir itself is quite quirky with various pieces situated throughout. It has a large garden and, important for cyclists, a garage in which bikes can be stored securely. The decor may not be to everyone's taste but I have to say that my friend and I did find it intertesting and a pleasant change from the sterility of chain hotels. The owners do have a large dog so those who are afraid of dogs should be aware of this. We were provided with keys for the bedroom, front door and back gate. As might be expected of an older property these were large.
In summary we enjoyed our two night stay and, if cycling in the area again, would certainly consider staying here.

My wife and I stayed at the Manoir de Ker-Huella for two nights in September. We had found the Manoir on-line and made our arrangements by e-mail. Enquiries were answered promptly. Philippe was very helpful in researching train schedules for us. Although the Manoir is quite near the railway station, we did not hear any trains during the night. Our room was small, immaculate and quiet; breakfasts ample and good.

Because we would be arriving in Morlaix by train outside of normal check in hours, we had given Philippe and Myriam our train number and time of arrival. We were very surprised and pleased to find, on arriving, that they had walked to the station to meet us. This was helpful and much appreciated.

We look forward to a return trip next year.
