This hotel is right on the river which provides a lovely aspect if you're lucky enough to have a room at the front. Although it's on a main (but not particularly busy) road it has efficient double glazing which led to a lovely uninterrupted nights sleep on the comfortable bed. The hotel is decorated to a good standard in light colours and the rooms slightly bigger than average. Everything was clean and tidy, and the shower was hot. It's a short walk into the heart of Morlaix past a few cafes, shops and bars. We didn't sample the breakfast as we prefer to eat in a local cafe. This hotel represents incredible value for money. Note that there isn't a lift, if this is critical to you.

The Hotel duPort is an excellent independently run small hotel located a 2 minutes walk form the centre of Morlaix and is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful region of France.
We stayed for four days at the end of April, arriving from the ferry after a 550 mile drive from Scotland, check in was both efficient and friendly, the room well equipped, well presented and proved to be both comfortable and quiet during our stay.
Breakfast is buffet style with a good range of choices, all fresh and kept well topped up.
For a similar price to the bland out of town chain hotels, the hotel du port provides a tourist friendly, personal service, in a thriving riverside/town centre location.

The location of the hotel is perfect, moreover room was clean and comfortable. Morlaixs is the vibrant village with breath-taking bridge in the middle! totally worthy to stop there although we spent in the city just one night and it was raining all night long as well as morning :(

This hotel is right on the port but also with the main road in front . Room although clean had an old feel to it . The rear of the hotel was quiet untill the cleaners arrived at 7.00am and then it was terrible with them running up and down the stairs sounding like they had boots on. Continental breakfast was good and plenty of it . Parking in front of the hotel is very hit and miss . Would not use this hotel again.

Room Tip: Take your pick

We stayed here for one night before travelling south. Good standard of accomodation good comfy bed and great location for exploring morlaix. Hotel is situated right next to the river, great for an evening walk and near to good restaurants and cafes. Breakfast buffet style had everything we needed and wsnted for our 1st day in France...Will use this place again.
