Staying in the Flemish suite is like living in your personal medieval Chateau. The garden is impeccably kept and just incredibly beautiful. The UNESCO listed historical houst has been made so very comfortable by Veronique, the proprietor, guardian, and hostess. She serves the tastiest bread for breakfast, along with the uniquely Provinsian rose preserve/jam. You can walk to all the important sites. Provins was a real unexpected gem. This is one of the best vacations I've had.

This bed and breakfast is one of those that you make the trip to the town just to stay there. It is a perfect place for couples who want some quiet alone time, yet it is also a place where you will want to go with your kids as the game room, complete with a pool table is perfect for rainy days. The owners are very accommodating and very helpful no matter what your request.

We stayed in what was called the 'large room' and to me is was a suite. The room and upscale bathroom are both well appointed and we will never forget the gardens. Breakfast was served on the patio overlooking the gardens and well...... don't miss this place! The town too is great :-)

Room Tip: Ask to see all the rooms available and then choose. I don't think there is a 'bad' room...

We went for a quiet weekend just before the easter holidays, and as it was quiet, when we arrived, we were upgraded to the Medieval suite...Wow! It was like going back in time, a real castle-type feel, with an enormous bed fit for a king and queen (not to mention the amazing private two seater hamman in the bathroom)! We were welcomed like VIPs too by the owner. She has got it just right - very attentive, lots of advice, a map of the town, a walk round the amazing grounds of this amazing demeure, but then she leaves you to it, and you really get the feeling of being in the privacy of your own home. The only time we saw or heard other guests was the next morning at breakfast (at what a breakfast room!!) The silence in this place is amazing, and yet it's bang in the middle of the town centre (with it's own private carpark, you can just leave the car and walk everywhere). You don't get more central than this. The nearest restaurant is 50 metres away... And being a medieval town, this place had the perfect amibiance. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Provins. HIghly recommended!

Room Tip: We liked the Medieval suite, but frankly, judging from all the other rooms we saw, I don't think...

We went to Provins last weekend and had originally planned to only spend the day there and return later in the evening. However, some friends of ours who had already arrived suggested that we also spend the night there and told us that they had found a really nice hotel for us. We grudgingly agreed but weren't yet that much persuaded. However, we completely changed our minds once we saw our room (Suite Hortansia) as well as the beautiful building and garden. It's absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is excellent, it goes hand in hand with this medieval village. I really appreciated the lovely furniture and decoration, as well as the truly relaxing bathroom. We also liked the balcony where we had our breakfast as well as the view of the garden from there. Our hostess was also really helpful and friendly and the hotel is situated near the main attractions. I would only have liked to have a slightly richer breakfast, though it was satisfying anyway. I honestly recommend this hotel, especially for couples as it is ideal for romantic get aways.

If you want to spend a little extra and experience the French life style this is it. Located between the Old and New Provins . Great Experience you could spend three or four days in this village. Our host Veronic was very nice and provided a nice breakfast in a lovely setting. Would stay here if in the area again.
