We love the Warwick. It is not the best hotel in Seattle, but it is our favourite. We drive down for weekends and the place is perfect. Juliette WIndows that open; Views!; Smoking rooms; 24 hour grocery & wine store down the block. I love the Dahlia across the street for food (they also have a late night menu). Plenty of food options around. walking distance to Belltown, downtown and a quick taxi to concert venues.
Now the room itself- it is a classic hotel with all the charm of a fairmont that has never ever been updated. but it is really clean. And yes- the front desk staff sure can be mean. At first I was really taken aback - Really? this is what has happened? no "Welcome?" no "Enjoy your Stay?". Certainly not. We now consider it part of the charm.
Note that the website usually has a great saver rate. We usually are able to get a room for $99/night.

Great hotel and location!! The hotel staff was very helpful. Loved the location of the hotel and the view. The Warwick is a great classic hotel and a great deal. Valet parking was a bit expensive and the hotel is not the most modern that we've stayed in, but it was overall a wonderful choice!

The hotel is located not far from the Space Needle. From our room we had a view of the Space Needle and the water. Sure was nice to sit by the balcony while having a cup of coffee in the morning and enjoying the view. The room was a nice size and very clean. The service from this staff is outstanding. I would definitely stay at the Warwick again if I ever go back to visit Seattle.

I chose this hotel for a short overnight break to Seattle from Vancouver. I found the hotel to be ideally located for most of Seattle's downtown attractions and restaurants. It has an old-world charm and feel.

Room Tip: For those not wishing to eat in the hotel there is a very good deli on the street corner opposite.

This was our second time staying here in three years. Near the downtown centre, with a fabulous view of the Space Needle. Online booking revealed no rooms, but a phone call to the property gave us an upgraded room for the price of a regular room. Parking is next door but pricey ($30). In honour of our return visit we were treated to Perrier and baked goods, along with a thank you note. Very classy. The concierge was helpful, saving us money on transportation to the Mariners game ... who knew Seattle had an underground bus system, and it was free to the ballpark? Will stay here again. Some freshening of the common areas and better/cheaper parking are the only reasons this isn't a 5.

I am surprised by some of the negative reviews posted here. We had a nice, clean, larger than average room, great view of the Space Needle, excellent service by the staff and overall a great stay (5 nights mixing pleasure with business). The staff went out of their way to say hello, even called us on our last night there to ask how everything was and suggested a cheap and easy way to get back to the airport in the morning. Not to mention this location is great. I walked to everything I could possibly see in 3 days as a tourist while my husband walked or took a short cab ride to his conference locations. When we visit Seattle again, I don't want to stay anywhere else!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Space Needle.

My sister and I spent 5 days at the Warwick Seattle on our recent trip. We stayed at 5 or 6 different hotels but none compared to our stay at the Warwick. It was absolutely awesome. The staff was very kind, the rooms were excellent and the food was outstanding, especially the prime rib. If we ever return to Seattle we would head straight for the Warwick. Seattle is one of the prettiest cities I have ever visited. I highly recommend that everyone that visits Seattle to stay at the Warwick.

Room Tip: Stay on the 8th floor viewing the Space Needle. Excellent scenery
