My wife and I had planned this valentine 22 year wedding anniversary night for some time, we had made all the arrangement's for a great dinner, room, romance ect. The room was Awsome with the Space Needle so close and perfect pictures! Without getting in to details we were starting our evening and heard something outside the door. A CREEPY OLD MAN LEANING AGAINST THE DOOR LISTENING!!! this is a $300 a night room no a motel? we called down to the front desk and they said they would contact security ASAP. We heard the 2 way radio directly outside the door. THIS WAS THE SECURITY!!. needles to say we did not sleep the rest of the night. The Manager listen to my issues, did not offer any support however he would look into it.

We waited now over a month and still no call regarding this issue so it is important that people know of this. IT OBVIOUSLY WAS BRUSHED UNDER THE RUG. BE CAUTIOUS BEFORE STAYING HERE. The next day we seen this guy again helping with peoples cars in the garage and he just stopped and looked at us like we did something wrong?????????

.

Room Tip: choose the suite with a view excellent ! However Lock your door with both locks!!!! use the safe and...

Hello sir,

First and foremost let me apologize that you feel this issue was swept under the rug. I can assure you that is not the case.

I was informed by my Guest Services Manager that he personally spoke to you before you left on February 15, 2011. However, please allow me to explain your situation so that both you and others are aware and know that this is a very safe and reputable hotel.

The person who was outside your door was indeed our Security Officer. It is incorrect to say that he was listening in to your room as that is simply not the case. Our Security Officer, as is reflected in our Security Log Book for that evening, was asked to go to the 17th floor to see if they could determine where the source of the smoking smell complaints were coming from on that floor. As you are aware we are 100% non-smoking. It was later determined that the room you were in was indeed burning incense. I would speculate that this was part of the Anniversary festivities you were partaking in.

I have instructed this member of our Security team that at no time should they ever be placing themselves close enough to a door to have anyone believe they may be listening in. We take our guests privacy very seriously in all regards. Additionally, it is not a mistaken image that we want to have the potential of having happen. I was assured by this gentleman that it would not happen again.

I ask that you, and anyone else who reads your review, understand that we are in reality a hotel that takes security and privacy very seriously. Many hotels do not have a security team at all, where as we do keep them on 7 nights a week to ensure your comfort and safety is well guarded.

I have attempted to call you this very morning before writing my response. Please know I am at your service should you need anything. I would also like to invite you back to Warwick Seattle Hotel the next time you are in to town. Thank you so much for staying with us.

Warm regards,

Clean, super convenient to all downtown attractions, great resturant and bar. They usually have an assortment of great deals for rooms and for the resturaunt on their site.

We stayed there for a night, staff was great, we were given a room with a view of the Space Needle which was great and to think that we got it at a very good price of $79 from Hotwire.Location was also a few blocks from Pike Place, Westlake Center and a lot of shopping center like Nordstrom and Macy's. Room was also clean .

Room Tip: we stayed in rm709 great location had a view of Space Needle and close to the elevator

Decent prices, convenient for walking to most everything, nice staff, a little older but clean - overall a very good experience.

Room Tip: Get an executive room.

We found the Warwick on Tripadvisor and it was a great choice. I was looking for a reasonable rate and close to all the downtown attractions and this was a good choice - you even get Ralph's late nite grocery across the street. The restaurant is a bit pricey - but not out of range for a downtown, upscale eatery.

My husband and I stayed at the Warwick Seattle for one night in March 2012. We decided to try the Warwick because the room price at our usual hotel had increased about 30% in the past year. Except for a few nit-picky things, we were quite happy with the Warwick. We thought it offered good value.

The Warwick is within a couple blocks walking distance of shopping in downtown Seattle and the rooms were nice and pretty clean (the bathroom tap had obviously been missed in the cleaning by the look of all the water spots). I also noticed the veneer on the bottom of the bathroom door was split and coming away from the wood (it looked like it may have withstood a "flood" or two) and the fixtures were a bit outdated but all this is easily forgiven considering the dollars saved bought us a lovely lunch at a nearby Tom Douglas restaurant. One last note, "valet" parking was included in our room package but when we arrived (via a circular route because of all the one-way streets) we were told that, no, their "valet" parking is where you park the car yourself in a garage around the corner (which we just passed trying to get to the front of the hotel) and then had to drive another 4 blocks around (because of the one way streets) to "valet" park our own car. Really? They should state that the cost of parking is included, rather than "valet" parking. Lastly, checkout the following morning was a dream. The service we received was excellent.

Taking all this into account, I will return if their prices continue to undercut the competition.
