This will be short as I watch the sunset into the water and mountains from the 5th floor deck, While sipping a glass of red wine. I believe this is our 3rd or 4th stay, and will always be our choice while visiting Seattle. Couldn't ask for a better location - to my right is the sunset, the neon PUBLIC MARKET sign just to my left. Smell a meal being prepared down below. Rooms are very tasteful, beds quite comfortable. Service from the staff has been consistently good during each visit. I appreciate that they are friendly, personable and helpful. Our partial water view is very partial, but I may be splitting hairs. Great place to stay. Now, back to that sunset...

We had always heard of "Inn at the Market" from relatives and friends. We really wanted to experience the Inn on our pre-cruise night. It was certainly as nice as we expected. The roof-top terrace/seating area allowed us a perfect view of the Pike Place Market as well as the waterfront activities. The location of the Inn allowed us to experience some great restaurants. The staff couldn't have been nicer, from the bell desk to the housekeeping staff. Our room was small but extremely comfortable. We will look forward to going back to Seattle and to the Inn at the Market!

Room Tip: My sister and husband had a very nice corner room.

We were spending 1 night in Seattle before heading to Portland and chose this hotel for it's awesome location, to make the most of our short time in the city. This was our anniversary trip and the staff did everything to make our night memorable. The location really can't be beat, and we loved enjoying the sun & views from their outdoor terrace. Based on our travel experience, we found this hotel to be a great value for the location, luxurious accommodation & top notch staff! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Inn at the Market. Before our trip I e-mailed the Inn for suggestions on getting to the hotel from the airport since a Seahawks game was starting about the same time as we were making our way to the Inn. Noelle responded quickly and advised the first choice was the Light Rail link to Westlake Station, we paid our $2.75 each and in 50 minutes we were walking into the Lobby. What a great way to get downtown. Since we were early we dropped our bags at the bell desk and went for a beverage and walk around the market which is just a few steps away.
Our room was a city view on the 5th floor and the only downside was the large globe street lights which lit up the room unless the drapes were pullet tight...which made having the window open a little useless, but other than that our room was perfect, yes the television is at a funny angle but we spent little time watching tv. The room has everything you need, including a corkscrew, and being on the 5th floor made for a quick walk to the beautiful deck. We spent a lot of time out there, the view is amazing. One evening we needed something to go with our wine and I was down to Beechers for some cheese and back up on the deck in 5 minutes. There are many great restaurants, pubs, bake shops and wine tasting rooms within a block or two, and the waterfront is a short walk if you know the way to go.
All of the staff we met were fantastic, Bacco is great for breakfast, and the business room is handy to print boarding passes. When we left, we walked back to Westlake Station, and were at the airport in 40 minutes....thanks everone at the Inn, can't wait to return !

Room Tip: We didn't feel that a water view room was really needed to enjoy the hotel especially with the g...

What a nice time we had every evening on the roof watching the sunset behind the water and mountains! The room was very nice with spacious bathroom and high quality linens. Partial water view has you looking directly down at side street...no balcony's. Only real problem was that window cleaning was to take place from 9am-? this meant we had to keep our "water view" curtains closed until the cleaners finished. You are paying $$$ for the view... We Should have been told this at the time of booking so we could have decided if that's what we wanted.

Room Tip: Water front may be a better choice if you don't want to look down at the busy highway or roof to...
