“Best Ever”

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was laid back, professional, helpful and friendly. Arranged through hotel to have town car pick up at the airport. There was a misunderstanding/lack of communication issue and the driver wasn't there to meet me. Called the hotel and they got right on it. Turns out I was scheduled for curb pick up. No problem. When I arrived at the hotel staff was apologetic and gave me a complimentary breakfast.. Wasn't necessarily warranted but the gesture said a lot about the quality and integrity of the hotel staff.
The room I had faced the water. It was so wonderful to sit by the window watch the sunset and the ferries. The size of both the bedroom and bathroom was great. Great restaurants (3) with local flavors and atmosphere. Restuarants were not typical of hotel dining experiences.
The location was fantastic. So close to the market and all its attractions. Followed TA recommendations for eating spots and wasn't disappointed.
Seattle is a great city and I am blessed to have family close by which make for a great excuse to come back to the Inn at the Market. Can't wait for my next visit! Thank you so much.

Room Tip: Upper floor room facing the water. A must!

Just stayed here for two nights. Very nice, great staff, comfortable bed and amenities. Highly recommend this place. Close to everything and yet very quiet and relaxing environment. Our room had a lovely view of the harbour yet it was not noisy. So many attractions were in easy walking distance. Also, enjoyed breakfast at Bacco, around the corner. Good food and service, very convenient!

Room Tip: We chose a room with a water view. It was very quiet and the view...well, it was worth the price!

Stayed for two nights just before Thanksgiving. Nice lobby and friendly and helpful staff. Great location right above the Pike's Place Market. The hallway to our room smelled musty like an old value hotel change but the room was nice- great view facing out to the bay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Our only complaint is the room was very drafty and the heater noisy.

This hotel is not only in the primo location for sights, shopping, and dining but knocks it out of the park for service, local expertise, ambience, cleanliness, and dreamy beds and linens. You will not be disappointed and will be thrilled to be so close to all the best downtown Seattle has to offer. I live in the city so only stay here on special occasions like my birthday or anniversary. Each time has been memorable.

You realize Inn at the Market is special as soon as you are greeted at the curb on Pine Street by Caleb. He is at once efficient, intelligent and accommodating. Your positive sense is reinforced at the front desk by Taylor who projects the aplomb of an experienced hotelier, while appearing to be in her twenties. Clearly an investment has been made in staffing this well appointed and extremely well located hotel. You will not be disappointed if you have the experience that we enjoyed. And, if you spend the night, be sure to visit the fifth floor outdoor deck for a spectacular vista which, on a clear day, affords one a view of the Olympics.

Room Tip: On a clear day, invest in a partial view room - a modest increase in price for an unlimited skyline.

Spent three nights here in October, 2012 with a group of 20. This is an excellent property with a prime location a one minute walk from the Pike Place Market and about a 10 minute walk to the downtown shopping district and multiple restaurants. About a 15 minute walk to the light link rail from the airport and about a 10 minute walk to the monorail station to ride to the Space Needle. About a 30 minute walk to the stadiums. 20 minute walk to the waterfront and ferris wheel. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful and obviously take pride in the property and customer service. Excellent meeting facility for 8 to 10 people. Well appointed, comfortable and spotless rooms. If you can swing a room looking at the water the views are wonderful. Might be a little pricey, but the quality is here and the location cannot be beat.

This is the third time we have stayed at Inn at the Market. We have been very satisfied every time we stayed there. This time, even though we paid for a street side room, we got a partial water view . Very nice!
The location is perfect;literally steps from Pike Street Market. The rooms are not huge, but nicely appointed.
We put our vehicle into the valet parking, and as we were leaving, noticed my boyfriend's mp3 player was missing. The bell captain helped us search for it, and even checked our room. He was extremely helpful and professional, even as I'm sure he thought it must have been our mistake. As it turns out it was-my boyfriend found the mp3 player in his jacket pocket about an hour after we left.
The only quibble I have is with the shower curtain. For some reason, the magnets at the bottom won't stick to the tub, so the wet curtain wraps itself around you as you shower. Yuck!! Mentioned this to the front desk upon checkout, and was told other guest had mentioned the same thing and they were looking into correcting it.
Would stay there again
