With a friend's recommendation, we booked the Inn for our first time visit to Seattle. There is construction going on, but it was unobtrusive on our floor, the sixth. It was easy to walk across the street o have some chowder for lunch and explore the market. The staff was friendly, our rio was spotless and brand new. The coffee was complimentary (keurig stocked with Tullys medium roast, decaf, and tea. Free wifi is how I'm writing this review. The rooftop garden is a great spot to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of evening wine. The mini bar is stocked, but we didn't partake. Glass enclosed Shower but no tub in room 605 but it was great. They have an iron, hair dryer, robes and slippers. We enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Stay overlooking the bay. Our huge pictur window was a waste looking at the building across the stre...

We spent two nights at the hotel. Our room overlooked the water and could not have had a better view. We had a suite which was very nice. I love to have a separate room from the bedroom. The staff were very friendly.

I am a sucker for a great bathroom and this one did not have it. The bath tub is small and the sink area also small. It was clean and pretty but just not amazing.

The bed and linens were very good. I felt like I was sinking into a cloud. Wonderful!

The construction was not noisy but they were always in our way since our room was on the same floor. The maids were always trying to get into our room and even though we asked for 20 min, they still came back. I am sure this will end and become a non issue but for now it was difficult and annoying.

There is no gym and we do appreciate a good gym.

All in all the location and proximity to the water, restaurants, etc make it avery good hotel to stay in. It is very close to the monorail which makes getting around easy. We did not use our car once which was a real pleasure.

By the way, the Chihuly Glass and Garden Exhibit is a must see. I do not have young kids but I would take them as long as they do not run around and can keep their hands in their pockets. The colours are brilliant and I think would be a great way to introduce young children to art.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room with the front view of the ocean.

The location of this lovely hotel is tops for tourists to Seattle. The rooftop terrace is perfect for taking a break at any time of the day. We brought our own wine to watch the sunset each evening and felt like we had the entire hotel to ourselves...stop and pick up a bottle and some cheese when you are out and about in the tourist areas directly below the Inn.
The Inn at the Market was sold out when we tried to book a room 2 weeks in advance...calling back as our stay approached helped us secure rooms for each evening...the helpful staff was able to arrange our reservations so that we did not have to move during our stay. Before-- and especially during our stay, they were helpful, gracious and very hospitable. The package offerings make this hotel a bargain when compared to other similar properties. Valet parking ($30) was included in our package. The adjoining breakfast restaurant (Bacco) was the best of all the places we tried. The water, teas & coffee set out in the lobby each day set the stage for an inviting and welcoming stay.
The bathrooms were thoughtfully supplied with makeup mirrors and lighting was great. Bed linens and towels were top-notch. The mini-bar was well-stocked and we appreciated the wine!
The construction to upgrade the rooms did not interfere with our stay ---and all workers we encountered in the elevators and corridors were apologetic and friendly. We were never inconvenienced or even heard them. It is hard to imagine a better "Inn at the Market"!
We loved this hotel for it's modern luxurious comfort and furnishings, fabulous location for touring, access to terrific restaurants, and most importantly--friendly, helpful staff. Kudos to all!
If you can't get a room, keep trying! Their generous cancellation policy means rooms frequently become available. We so glad we took the time to try and try and try again!

Room Tip: Check out the package offerings for extra value. The rooms on the 5th floor provide direct access t...

The rooms are nice, but I wish the reservation person had told us there is major construction going on. Every floor seemed impacted. The room was fine, but there was a happy painter whistling outside our room about 0730. It also seemed a lot noisier than the last time we stayed, 3 years ago. When we checked in and out, the hotel staff was extremely friendly.

Room Tip: Construction is still an issue, and there were a lot of street noises.

A charming boutique hotel in a great location, the Inn at the Market is quite small, very quiet and in a great location. About one block from Pike's Market and many restaurants and shops, this is an excellent place to stay. Staff was lovely, helpful and went out of their way many times. A special shoutout to the bellmen; wonderful young men who could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a long weekend in Seattle and were really glad to have this centrally located and beautifully apportioned inn to stay at. Right next to the market and short walk to shopping. Would stay here again when visiting.

Great boutique hotel in the center of everything in Seattle. Very comfortable beds and extremely responsive and helpful staff. Although there were renovations happening on my floor, I didn't hear any construction noise.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the 3rd floor and on the water side. I could see the water above the Pike Mark...
