“Absolutely perfect!”

My husband & I just returned from a trip to Seattle celebrating our 40th anniversary and had a great time thanks to Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Mayflower Park and couldn't have asked for anything better. It's a beautiful hotel in a good location. We had a one bedroom corner suite, which gave us more than enough room to walk around. No noise in the hallways or coming through walls and very clean. We were touched to find a card wishing us a happy anniversary with a small box of candy. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly.
We did the Boeing Tour & City Tour with Show Me Seattle. Nice to not have to battle the downtown traffic and one way streets. Both guides were friendly and informative. We also did the Queen of Seattle ride on Lake Union. It was nice to see the community of houseboats, including the houseboat from the Sleepless in Seattle movie.
One day we did the Space Needle, and yes it was a bit expensive. But...it is the Space Needle and something I wanted to do. Definitely worth it. Plus they will take your picture as you are walking up the elevator, then send it to you via e-mail.
The only thing about our trip that surprised us was the steep hills. It didn't stop us from walking down to the waterfront, but it was a bit of a challenge coming back up.
For dinner, we ate at Il Fortunaio and enjoyed it. Father's Day we ate at the Six Seven Restaurant on the waterfront. We had a great brunch and a beautiful view. It was definitely a trip we will remember.

We had 3 wonderful nights at this hotel. The room was very comfortable. Had breakfast in the restaurant twice with very good food and service. Visited the lounge a couple times and the server ( 'Susan' I believe was her name) was very friendly and helpful. Sean Stampley, Concierge, provided us with much information and helped make the most of our 4 days in Seattle. He informed us of various tours and all of the public transit options available. The hotel is in a great location for people using the transit system. All the staff at this hotel were very friendly and happy to help any way they could. We were very impressed. We stayed at 7 hotels during our holiday and the Mayflower was by far the best!

My husband and I chose the Mayflower Park because of its location. Easy to walk to the Market, easy to get on the free 'business district' city busses. Literally next door to the Westlake Shopping Center to pick up the monorail to the Space Needle. I saw a sign that the light rail to the airport had a location either there or nearby.
The hotel itself is beautiful! It is not 'modern' in the sense that the rooms are not large, but all the ammenities were available. The staff was very helpful with any questions and we enjoyed the free wine tasting in Andaluca's that evening. Everything was exactly what we looked for. We've stayed in historic inns and hotels before, so we appreciate the "character" and "personality" of an older building. Would highly recommend it for its simplicity and convenient location to everything.

From the minute the 4 of us arrived at Mayflower Park, we were treated like valued guests. The lobby is beautiful and peaceful, and the front desk staff was very welcoming. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe suite, which had a seating area and 2 bathrooms. This was perfect for 4 ladies traveling together!
The location of the hotel could not be more perfect - lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, as well as only 3 blocks down to Pike Place Market. The bellboys and the concierge both gave us great suggestions for places to eat nearby. We even had two meals at Elephant and Castle we liked it so much! Another great suggestion was the Icon Grill. Great shopping in every direction from the hotel, and it is in a very safe area.
We took the Light Rail from the airport to Westlake Center, and had no problem finding our way to the hotel. We chose to take a cab (town car, actually) to the airport on our way home, as we were unsure how long it would take us to catch light rail, walk to our airline check-in and get through security.
I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in Seattle. The housekeeping staff even came in twice a day, with our beds turned down in the evening. The beds were very comfortable with nice pillows and bedding. We really liked the smaller hotel and felt that the attention to detail was wonderful. The hotel is also very clean, which is important to us. We enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting on Wednesday evening at the hotel, and had lunch one day at Oliver's - the hamburgers were great!
Two of us got up really early every day (5:30ish) and walked all around the downtown area. We tried a different coffee shop each morning, and it was so much fun. I can't imagine anyone not being extremely pleased with this hotel - everyone we encountered was very gracious and helpful. The desk clerk even let each of us pay for one night of our stay on our credit cards so we didn't have to split the bill among ourselves!
I have traveled a lot, and this hotel surpassed any other place I have stayed, especially in the price range. I kind of hate to give Mayflower Park such a great recommendation because I'm afraid they won't have rooms available if I travel to Seattle again! :)

Visting from Vancouver for a weekend get-away we chose the 'our friends from the north' package which included complimentary valet parking.
We walked everywhere, including to the Mariners game (30 minutes). Close to everything. Great location, beautiful old hotel that has been totally updated, gorgeous room, and great staff.
We'll definitely be back! The Mayflower is our new favorite!

It's a perfect location (both in terms of Seattle and access to the airport via the Link) and it's a great hotel. Wonderful staff and very pleasant if small rooms. Easy for me to recommend especially for single travelers or couples.

My husband and my parents went on a cruise to Alaska just last week. Our cruise left out of Seattle, so we decided to fly in the day before our cruise was scheduled to depart and explore Seattle for the day. After doing some research, I chose to book the Mayflower Park Hotel. I had never seen so many great reviews for a hotel, so I was sure I made a good choice. And as it turns out, I did. I had requested a higher floor with a view, and not only was that request honored, but we were also upgraded to a suite with 2 bathrooms and a separate living area with a great view of the space needle!! This is a beautiful and unique hotel with great service and a great location. The Pike Place market was a couple blocks away, and the monorail to the space needle was around the block. There are also a lot of great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. When we arrived at the airport, we just took the light rail to the Westlake Station, and the hotel was a block away. The fare for each person on the rail was $2.75. This definitely beats the cab fare for the 30 - 45 minute ride downtown. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle. You will not be disappointed!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a great view.
