Very nice room, close to everything. About 5 minute walk to Pike's Place Market. There was a ton of shopping nearby. There was a keurig with several pods in the room as well as what seemed like hundreds of Starbucks nearby. Very friendly staff in a historic building with lots of history. We would definitely stay here again.

Chose this hotel via comments on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Clean comfortable and a great position. I liked that the windows open for some fresh air. We walked everywhere from this hotel. Would stay here again. Seattle is a lovely city.

This is a great location for the centre of Seattle - it could not be more central for both shopping and tourism. The rooms are well equipped and the hotel is full of character. Staff are helpful and it has on-site valet parking. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room 1120 is supposed to be haunted - try it if you dare!

Hotel was gracious and the staff very helpful but the room was quite small and not well appointed. We had no desk and not many places to put our stuff, and had to really scramble for an outlet and surface to plug in our chargers. Unlike other hotels we stayed at where there was a charging station. We only had one chair for the two of us!

My wife and I stayed here after our cruise for just the one night. We arrived way to early to check in but the staff stored our bags securely while we looked around the market that was close by. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Lovely older type historic hotel. Just around the corner to the metro. The best part was that the beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Location is great. Next door to the train coming from the airport.

An older hotel in excellent condition. Our bathroom was spotless. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Hotel itself was very quiet, we did not hear any activity on our floor at all. Although there was some street noise at 5:30 am one morning from workers pressure washing the sidewalk.

Staff was a little bit hit or miss. A couple were very friendly and helpful, others not so much.

Free wi fi and newspaper, but no coffee in the lobby. There is a 24 hour Starbucks around the corner, but a number of homeless people in that area, if that makes you uncomfortable.

All in all, ver satisfactory.

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are indeed extremely fortunate to be directly above the Downtown Transit Tunnel. I will say I was disappointed that you found the service inconsistent. Our non-corporate, friendly service is what we're known for, I'm very sorry that we missed the mark.

I also wanted to inform you, and other travelers, that in addition to the complimentary Starbucks coffee in-room, we serve coffee in our restaurant, Andaluca. If you ever visit again, I strongly recommend you try their breakfast, it's absolutely delicious!

Thank you for staying with us, I sincerely appreciate it.

David B.
